Abstract

1516915 Scaffolding A S WILLIAMS and R FOSKETT 13 May 1976 19832/76 Heading EIS A scaffolding bracket comprises a horizontal member 1 for supporting scaffold boards, a vertical member 2 connected to the horizontal member for locating adjacent a vertical surface with a fixing plate 14 for securing the bracket to the surface and a tubular socket 6 pivotally mounted between two angle plates 4, 5 secured to the horizontal and vertical members at the angle formed between the two members for receiving a tubular scaffold pole (not shown). The tubular scaffold pole passes between two bracing struts 9, 10. A hinged clamp 11 is provided to allow a scaffold pole to be located therein extending above the level of the horizontal member to form a support for a guard rail and/or below the horizontal member to the ground to serve as a stabilizing support.
