Description
Claims (2)
- エンジンと、該エンジンに直結される発電機と、該発電機の出力電力を電源とするマイクロコンピュータで制御される点火装置とを有するエンジンの始動装置において、
エンジン回転位置の基準信号を出力するセンサと、
前記エンジンのクランク軸に連結されたフライホイールを回転させる手動始動装置とを具備し、
前記マイクロコンピュータが、
前記基準信号の周期に基づいてエンジン回転数を算出し、算出されたエンジン回転数に基づいて点火時期を決定する演算処理機能と、
前記手動装置の操作による前記発電機の出力電力で立ち上がった後、前記演算処理機能が動作可能となる電源電圧が得られる前に、該マイクロコンピュータに最初に入力されるエンジン回転位置の基準信号に応答して予め設定された時間経過時に点火指示を発生する初期点火機能とを有しているとともに、
前記マイクロコンピュータは、前記初期点火機能による点火指示後は、該初期点火機能の点火指示に代えて、前記演算処理機能によって決定された点火時期に従って点火指示を発生することを特徴とし、
さらに、前記予め設定された時間が、前記手動始動装置の操作による最低始動回転数の時に、定格運転時に使用される点火角度より遅角された点火角度になるように設定されることを特徴とするエンジンの始動装置。 - 前記点火装置が、前記エンジンの回転数に応じた点火角度で点火するように構成されたデジタル制御方式であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のエンジン始動装置。
