4H++4e-+(4OH-)→2H2+(4OH-)
の反応が起こり、アノード電極では、
2H2O→4H++O2+4e-
の反応が起こると同時に、水に含まれる塩化物イオン(被処理水に予め添加されているもの)が、
2Cl-→Cl2+2e-
のように反応し、更にこのCl2は水と反応し、
Cl2+H2O→HClO+HCl
となる。

Claims (4)
- 負荷に循環供給される被処理水中のスケールを除去するシステムであって、
前記被処理水中に浸漬されて当該被処理水を電気化学的に処理する少なくとも一対の電極と、該電極の下流側に設けられたスケール回収手段とを備え、該スケール回収手段を経た前記被処理水を分流し、一方を前記負荷に供給した後、前記電極からの前記被処理水と合流させて前記スケール回収手段の入口側に戻すと共に、他方を前記電極の入口側に戻すことを特徴とするスケール除去システム。 - 前記被処理水が前記スケール回収手段をバイパスして流れる流路を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスケール除去システム。
- 前記被処理水中の次亜塩素酸を分解する次亜塩素酸分解手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のスケール除去システム。
- 前記電極による電気化学的処理を所定の条件下で行うと共に、当該電気化学的処理が行われていない状態で前記次亜塩素酸分解手段を機能させることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のスケール除去システム。
