Description
有機基を有さない有機色素は溶解性が不十分となり実用的であるとは言えない。
より、得られる光記録媒体において、ガスの発生による圧力変動をより確実に防止することができる。
本発明に係る有機色素は、有機色素母体と、該有機色素母体に単結合を介して結合した、所定位置で炭素数5以上の有機基と水素原子以外の官能基とに分岐した炭素数7以上の分岐状有機基の1個以上及び/又は該分岐状有機基以外の炭素数5以上の有機基の2個以上と、を有する。
素数は6以上が好ましく、6〜20がより好ましい。なお、この場合、有機色素母体には、炭素数7以上の分岐状有機基がさらに結合していてもよい。

Claims (12)
- 光の照射により情報の記録が可能な光記録媒体に用いられる光記録材料であって、
有機色素母体と、前記有機色素母体に単結合を介して結合した、所定位置で炭素数5以上の有機基と水素原子以外の官能基とに分岐した炭素数7以上の分岐状有機基の1個以上を有し、下記一般式(1)で表される構造を有する有機色素を含有することを特徴とする光記録材料。
- 前記有機色素は、前記有機色素母体の分解開始温度よりも低い温度で、前記炭素数5以上の有機基が解離するものであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の光記録材料。
- 前記有機色素が、下記一般式(5)で表される構造を有することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の光記録材料。
- 前記炭素数5以上の有機基が、アリール基、アリールアルキル基、アルキルアリール基、シクロアルキル基、アルキルシクロアルキル基、シクロアルキルアルキル基及びアダマンタンから1個の水素原子を除いた残基から選ばれる1種であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のうちのいずれか一項に記載の光記録材料。
- アゾ化合物と金属とのキレート化合物をさらに含有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のうちのいずれか一項に記載の光記録材料。
- 光の照射により情報の記録が可能な光記録媒体であって、
