Description
図1は、第1の実施形態の車両用発電システムの全体構成を示す図である。図1に示す車両用発電システムは、車両用発電機1、電圧制御装置2、車載バッテリ3、電気負荷4、ECU(エンジン制御装置)5を含んで構成されている。

と表すことができる。したがって、単にサンプリングした電流値を積算することにより、充放電電流値の時間積分を行うことが可能になり、積分用の専用タイマなどの時間計測回路が不要になる。
ところで、車載バッテリ3が劣化した場合にはノイズの吸収能力が低下して車両用発電機1の出力電圧の変動が大きくなるため、このときにも発電抑制信号の出力を禁止することが望ましい。

Claims (8)
- 車両用発電機と、
前記車両用発電機の出力電圧を制御する電圧制御装置と、
前記車両用発電機の出力電力によって充電される車載バッテリと、
前記車両用発電機による発電を抑制する発電抑制信号を前記電圧制御装置に向けて送信するとともに、前記車載バッテリのバッテリ容量を検出してこのバッテリ容量が所定値を下回ったときに前記発電抑制信号の送信を禁止する外部制御装置と、
前記車載バッテリの充放電電流を検出する電流検出手段と、
を備え、前記外部制御装置は、スタータの始動時に前記車載バッテリの内部インピーダンスを検出する内部インピーダンス検出手段を有し、前記車載バッテリの内部インピーダンスに基づいて、前記車載バッテリの初期状態を検出するとともに、前記電流検出手段によって検出された前記車載バッテリの放電電流が所定値のときの前記車載バッテリの端子電圧に基づいて、前記バッテリ容量を検出し、前記車載バッテリの放電特性に基づいて前記バッテリ容量を補正することを特徴とする車両用発電システム。 - 請求項1において、
前記外部制御装置は、所定の時間間隔で前記車載バッテリの開放電圧を検出し、この開放電圧の経時変化量が所定値以下のときに、前記内部インピーダンス検出手段による前記内部インピーダンスの検出動作を行うことを特徴とする車両用発電システム。 - 請求項1または2において、
前記車載バッテリの温度を検出する温度センサをさらに備え、
前記外部制御装置は、前記温度センサを用いて検出した前記車載バッテリの温度に基づいて前記バッテリ容量を補正することを特徴とする車両用発電システム。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれかにおいて、
前記外部制御装置は、前記電流検出手段によって検出された前記車載バッテリの充放電電流を積算するバッテリ電流積算手段を有し、今回の前記スタータの始動時に対応して得られたバッテリ容量と、前回の前記スタータの始動時に対応して得られたバッテリ容量に前回の車両走行時に前記バッテリ電流積算手段によって積算された充放電電流の積算値を加算したバッテリ容量とを比較し、値が小さい方を今回の車両走行の初期容量として設定することを特徴とする車両用発電システム。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれかおいて、
前記電圧制御装置は、負荷応答制御機能を備え、
前記車両用発電機から動作電圧の供給を受けて動作し、この動作電圧が所定値以下に低下したときに動作を禁止する手段を含んでいることを特徴とする車両用発電システム。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれかにおいて、
前記車両用発電機と前記車載バッテリとをつなぐ電力ケーブルの途中に設けられた分岐手段と、
前記分岐手段を介して前記電力ケーブルに接続された誘導性の電気負荷と、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする車両用発電システム。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれかにおいて、
前記外部制御装置は、エンジンの回転状態を制御するエンジン制御装置であって、前記エンジンの負荷状態に応じて前記発電抑制信号を送信することを特徴とする車両用発電システム。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれかにおいて、
前記車載バッテリの劣化状態を検出する劣化検出手段をさらに備え、
前記外部制御装置は、前記劣化検出手段の検出結果に基づいて前記車載バッテリの劣化を検出したときに前記発電抑制信号の送信を禁止することを特徴とする車両用発電システム。
