Description
(1)センサから離れて配置された充電分極解消検出装置で検出を行っており、通常はエンジンルーム内にバッテリが配置されるため、点火ノイズなどが重畳しやすく、充電電流の減少加速度が負の値から0となる時点の検出誤差が大きかった。また、電流検出周期と周期が一致した点火ノイズなどの周期性ノイズが電流検出のオフセット誤差となり、電流積算値に誤差が生じ、分極解消検出に誤差が生じていた。
(2)一定放電させる余分な負荷を備える必要があり、そのためのスペース確保が必要であるとともに、この負荷によって無駄に電力が消費されていた。
(3)放電用の負荷として、所定の負荷が作動するのを待つ方法や、成り行きの放電量を積算する方法では、充電分極解消までの時間がばらつき、時間経過による分極解消の影響の程度もばらつくため、精度よく分極解消を検出することができなかった。
このようにして算出された出力電流指示値あるいはこの出力電流指示値で指定される出力電流を実現するための指示値(例えば、出力電流指示値で指定される出力電流を実現する励磁電流指示値)が車両用発電制御装置4に送信される(ステップ212)。これにより、車両用発電制御装置4によって車両用発電機3の出力電流が出力電流指示値となるように制御される。

Claims (6)
- バッテリの充放電電流を検出する充放電電流検出手段と、
前記充放電電流検出手段による検出結果に基づいて、充電中のときに充電電流の減少加速度が負の値からゼロになったことを検出する充電電流減少加速度ゼロ検出手段と、
前記充電電流減少加速度ゼロ検出手段によって充電電流の減少加速度が負の値からゼロになったことが検出されるまでの間、前記バッテリに供給される充電電流を積算することにより、前記バッテリの積算充電量を算出する積算充電量算出手段と、
前記バッテリに充電電流を供給する車両用発電機の発電量を制御することにより、前記バッテリの放電電流を一定に維持する発電機制御手段と、
前記発電機制御手段の制御による放電電流の積算値が前記積算充電量に達したときに、直前の充電中に前記バッテリに発生した充電側分極の解消を検出する分極解消判定手段と、
を備えることを特徴とするバッテリ状態検出装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記車両用発電機は、前記バッテリの端子電圧が所定の発電機目標電圧となるように制御する機能を有しており、
前記発電機制御手段は、前記充放電電流検出手段によって検出された放電電流と所定の目標放電電流とを比較し、前記発電機目標電圧を上下させることを特徴とするバッテリ状態検出装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記発電機制御手段は、
前記車両用発電機の出力電流を算出する出力電流算出手段と、
前記出力電流算出手段によって算出された出力電流に基づいて、前記バッテリの放電電流が所定の目標放電電流になるように前記車両用発電機の出力電流を制御する出力電流制御手段と、
を有することを特徴とするバッテリ状態検出装置。 - 請求項3において、
前記車両用発電機の出力電流を検出する出力電流検出手段をさらに備え、
前記出力電流制御手段は、前記出力電流検出手段によって検出された出力電流に基づいて、前記車両用発電機の出力電流を補正することを特徴とするバッテリ状態検出装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記充電電流減少加速度ゼロ検出手段、前記積算充電量算出手段、前記発電機制御手段、前記分極解消判定手段を前記充放電電流検出手段とともに前記バッテリの端子に近接した位置に配置することを特徴とするバッテリ状態検出装置。 - 請求項5において、
前記充放電電流検出手段は、前記バッテリの端子あるいは筐体に取り付けられた電流センサであり、この電流センサに前記充電電流減少加速度ゼロ検出手段、前記積算充電量算出手段、前記発電機制御手段、前記分極解消判定手段を内蔵させたことを特徴とするバッテリ状態検出装置。
