Claims (2)
- 車両に搭載されたバッテリと、このバッテリを充電する車両用発電機と、前記バッテリの充放電電流を検出するとともに前記車両用発電機の発電量を制御するバッテリ充放電制御装置と、前記車両に搭載されたエンジンの回転を車軸に伝える無段変速機と、前記エンジンおよび前記無段変速機を制御する車両制御装置とを備える車両システムにおいて、
前記バッテリ充放電制御装置は、
前記バッテリの充放電電流に基づいて前記バッテリの容量を監視する容量監視手段と、
電動パワーステアリング作動時における前記バッテリの放電電流、電圧に基づいて前記バッテリの内部抵抗を観測することで前記バッテリの劣化の有無を判定する劣化判定手段と、
前記バッテリの容量が低下したときに前記車両制御装置にその旨を通知するとともに、前記劣化判定手段によって前記バッテリが劣化している判定がなされたときにその旨を前記車両制御装置に通知する通知手段と、
前記バッテリの容量低下時に容量回復に必要な前記バッテリの目標充電電流値を設定して前記車両用発電機の発電指示を行うとともに、前記バッテリの劣化時に前記バッテリの端子電圧の維持に必要な前記車両用発電機の発電指示を行う発電指示手段と、を備え、
前記車両制御装置は、前記通知手段から通知を受けたときに、前記エンジンの回転数を増加させるとともに、前記無段変速機の減速比を下げることで、前記車両用発電機の発電量を増加させ、
前記車両用発電機の回転数、励磁電流、出力電圧に基づいて、前記発電トルクの検出と前記目標充電電流値の設定が前記バッテリ充放電制御装置によって行われ、
前記バッテリ充放電制御装置は、前記車両制御装置とは別に設けられ、前記バッテリの近傍に設置されており、
前記バッテリ充放電制御装置は、前記目標充電電流値の設定に伴い、前記発電指示手段による発電指示にしたがって前記車両用発電機の発電量が増加した後の発電トルクの予測値を算出し、
前記車両制御装置は、前記車両用発電機の予測された発電トルクを取得し、取得した発電トルクに基づいて、前記エンジンの回転数の増加量および前記無段変速機の減速比の低下量を補正することを特徴とする車両システム。 - 請求項1において、
前記通知手段から前記車両制御装置に送られる通知には前記バッテリの容量低下の程度が含まれており、
前記車両制御装置は、前記バッテリの容量低下の程度が大きいほど、前記エンジンの回転数増加の程度および前記無段変速機の減速比低下の程度を大きく設定することを特徴とする車両システム。
