Description
Claims (7)
- ロータシャフトを支持する軸受の径方向振動を吸収する流体ダンパであって、この流体ダンパは、流体が収容された一連のシリンダを有し、これらのシリンダは、前記軸受の周りに同心状に位置するように周方向に配置されており、前記各々の流体シリンダは、前記軸受に対してそれぞれ径方向に方向づけられているとともに、該軸受の径方向運動を防ぐように、ピストンが減衰流体に対して摺動可能に設けられているチャンバを画成しており、各々のチャンバは、これらのチャンバの間に延在する流路によってループ状で流体的に連通するよう順次接続されており、前記流路は、前記の関連するピストンが押し込まれるチャンバを起点として、減衰流体が各々のチャンバを通って所定の方向で順次連続的に流れるように設けられていることを特徴とする流体ダンパ。
- 前記流路は、流体入口と流体出口とをそれぞれ有し、前記流体入口は、前記ピストンが前記チャンバ内に所定の挿入深さまで押し込まれたときに、該ピストンによって閉鎖されるように設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の流体ダンパ。
- 前記各々のピストンは、対応するチャンバの第2の端部とは反対側の第1の端部から外向きに延在するピストンロッドをそれぞれ有しており、前記流体出口は、前記チャンバの第2の端部の高さに設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の流体ダンパ。
- 前記チャンバは、固定リング部材に設けられており、前記各々のピストンは、前記軸受の径方向振動に応答して個々に動作可能となるように、前記固定リング部材の径方向内側に延在するピストンロッドを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の流体ダンパ。
- 前記固定リング部材は、円筒形の支持体の内部にはめ込まれており、この円筒形の支持体は、前記固定リング部材の外側面を密に取り囲んで前記各々のチャンバを閉鎖する内側面を有することを特徴とする請求項4記載の流体ダンパ。
- 支持体をさらに含み、この支持体は、前記の周方向に設けられた一連のシリンダ内で前記軸受を同心状に支持し、かつ軸受荷重による該軸受の抑制された径方向振動を許容するように設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の流体ダンパ。
- 前記シリンダは、リングに設けられており、前記各々のピストンは、前記軸受の径方向振動に応答して、前記シリンダが該軸受によって個々に動作可能となるように、前記リングの径方向内側に延在するピストンロッドを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の流体ダンパ。
