Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 この発明は、ICカード装置、特に外装パッケージ部の
構造に関するものである。
〔従来の技術〕
第５図〜第８図は従来のこの種のICカード装置を示す
図で、図中１、２は電気部品が実装されているICカード
用基体３を両面から覆うICカード装置の外装用の基体、
４、５はICカード用基体３に半田６によって装着された
端子、７は端子４、５が取付けられ外装用基体１、２に
収納組み立てられたソケット、８はソケット７を外装用
基体１、２に収納組み立てた際に生じる間隙、９は端子
４、５の周辺に塗布され、静電気による電気部品の破壊
を防止する樹脂である。
この従来のものでは、ソケット７を搭載した基体本体
３を外部機器への案内を兼ね備えた基体１、２に収納し
て保護するよう構成されている。組み立てる場合は、ま
ず基体２にICカード用基体３およびソケット７を収納
し、次に基体１を接合して組み立てる。しかしこれらの
各基体１〜３を組み合わせる場合、必要なクリアランス
のためどうしても間隙８が生じ、そのままでは第６図お
よび第７図に示すようにICカードを表裏から間隙８を通
してソケット７の端子４、５が見えるのみでなく、間隙
８を通して外部からごみ等が侵入し端子４、５間を電気
的に短絡してICカード用基体の電気部品を破壊する。ま
た端子４、５間の上面から基体１〜３の外面までの距離
が小さいため、静電気によってICカード用基体３上の電
気部品を破壊することがある。このため、予め端子４、
５部周辺に樹脂９を塗布して組み立てる。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
このように構成された従来のものでは、必ず生ずる基
体とソケット間の間隙に起因する不具合を解消するた
め、樹脂を塗布する必要があり、余分の材料と塗布作業
を要する等の欠点があった。
この発明はこのような従来のものの欠点を解消するた
めになされたもので、樹脂等の余分の材料をなくすと共
に塗布作業を省いて構成できるICカードを得ることを目
的とする。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
この発明に係るICカード装置は、電気部品が実装され
たICカード用基体を外装用基体内に収納し、ICカード用
基体の電気部品と外部機器とを電気的に接続するソケッ
トと外装用基体の一部が鍔部を介して重なり合うように
配置したものである。
〔作用〕
この発明における外装用基体は、一部が鍔部を介して
ソケットに嵌合するよう構成されているので、相互間の
間隙を埋めるための樹脂等の材料が不要となるのみなら
ず、そのための作業が省略できる。
〔実施例〕
以下この発明の一実施例を第１図および第２図にもと
づいて説明する。即ち第１図および第２図において、１
は鍔11を有する外装用基体、２は鍔21を有する外装用基
体である。なおその他の構成は第５図〜第８図に示す従
来のものと同様であるので説明を省略する。
このように構成されたICカードは、まず外装用基体２
の鍔21をソケット７に挿入嵌合させて固定して後、外装
用基体１の鍔11をソケット７に挿入し基体１と２を接合
して組み立てる。このように外装用基体の一部に設けら
れた鍔がソケットの該当部分に挿入され重ね合わされて
嵌合された状態に組み立てることができるため、ソケッ
ト７と外装用基体１、２の接合箇所に組立上のクリアラ
ンスがあっても間隙が生じることなく、従ってごみ等の
侵入、静電気による破壊を防ぐことができると共に、間
隙を埋める材料、作業を不要とする効果が得られる。
第３図および第４図はいづれもこの発明の他の実施例
を示す図で、いずれのものも外装用基体の鍔のかわり
に、ソケット７と外装用基体１、２の嵌合部に各々面取
り部72、73、12、13、22、23を設けたもので、同様の効
果が得られる。
〔発明の効果〕
上記のようにこの発明によるICカード装置は、外装用
の基体とソケットの一部が鍔部を介して互いに重なり合
うようにしたので、相互間の間隙を埋める材料が不要に
なるのみならず、そのための作業が省略できる等組立て
が簡単で安価になる。

第１図は分解斜視図、第２図は要部断面図、第３図およ
び第４図はいづれもこの発明の他の実施例を示す断面
図、第５図〜第８図はいづれも従来のこの種ICカード装
置を示す図で、第５図は斜視図、第６図は上面図、第７
図は下面図、第８図は要部断面図である。 図中１、２は外装用基体、11、21は鍔、12、22、13、2
3、72、73は面取り部、３はICカード用基体、４、５は
端子、７はソケットである。 尚、図中同一符号は同一又は相当部分を示す。

Claims (1)

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】外装用基体内に配置され、電気部品が実装
    されたICカード用基体、このICカード用基体の電気部品
    と外部の機器とを電気的に接続するためのソケットを備
    え、上記外装用基体の上記ソケットとの接続部に鍔を設
    け、上記ソケットと上記外装用基体の鍔部が互いに重な
    り合うように構成されてなるICカード装置。
