Description
[製造例1]
反応器に100mMの塩化鉄水溶液と75mMのナトリウムフェロシアニドを投入して撹拌した後、60℃で30分間反応させた。

[実施例1]
正極活物質として硫黄‐炭素複合体(S:CNT=70:30(重量比))88重量%、導電材として気相成長炭素繊維(vapor grown carbon fiber;VGCF)5重量%及びバインダーとしてポリアクリル酸6.5重量%とポリビニルアルコール0.5重量%を混合した組成物全体に対して添加剤として製造例1で得られた鉄(III)フェロシアニド5重量%を添加して混合し、正極スラリー組成物を製造した。
添加剤として製造例2の鉄(III)フェロシアニドを同一含量で使用したことを除いては前記実施例1と同様に行ってリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極を製造した。
実施例1で製造した正極と負極を対面するように位置させ、その間に厚さ16μm、気孔率46%のポリエチレン分離膜を介在した後、電解質70μlを注入してリチウム‐硫黄電池を製造した。
実施例2の正極を使用したことを除いては前記実施例3と同様に行ってリチウム‐硫黄電池を製造した。
正極活物質として硫黄‐炭素複合体(S:CNT=70:30(重量比))88重量%、導電材として気相成長炭素繊維(VGCF)5重量%及びバインダーとしてポリアクリル酸6.5重量%とポリビニルアルコール0.5重量%を含む正極スラリー組成物を使用したことを除いては前記実施例1と同様に行って正極を製造した。
硫黄及び鉄(III)フェロシアニドを70:30の重量比でエタノールとともにボールミルを使って混合した後、60℃の温度で12時間熱処理して硫黄‐鉄(III)フェロシアニド複合体を製造した。
比較例1の正極を使用したことを除いては前記実施例3と同様に行ってリチウム‐硫黄電池を製造した。
比較例2の正極を使用したことを除いては前記実施例3と同様に行ってリチウム‐硫黄電池を製造した。
製造例1で製造した鉄(III)フェロシアニドに対して走査電子顕微鏡(scanning electron microscope;SEM)で観察した。この時、走査電子顕微鏡は日立(hitachi)社のS‐4800を利用し、得られた結果は図1に示す。
製造例1の鉄(III)フェロシアニド(PB)、実施例1の正極活物質(S70/CNT)、比較例2の正極活物質(S70/PB)及び実施例1で使用した炭素ナノチューブ(CNT)に対して粉体抵抗特性測定機(HPRM‐FA2、(株)ハンテク社製品)を利用して電気伝導率を測定した。この時、得られた結果は図2に示す。
実施例3、実施例4、比較例3及び比較例4で製造した電池に対して、充・放電測定装置((株)PNEソリューション社製品)を使用して容量及び寿命特性を評価した。
実施例4及び比較例3で製造した電池に対し、25℃で1Cの瞬間放電電流を加えて電圧変化を測定し、電池の出力特性を評価した。この時、得られた結果は図5に示す。
Claims (13)
- 集電体及び前記集電体の少なくとも一面に配置された正極活物質層を含み、
前記正極活物質層は正極活物質及び添加剤を含み、
前記添加剤は遷移金属‐フェロシアニド化合物を含むリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。 - 前記遷移金属‐フェロシアニド化合物は、鉄(III)フェロシアニド、コバルト(II)フェロシアニド、ニッケル(II)フェロシアニド、銅(II)フェロシアニド及び亜鉛(II)フェロシアニドからなる群から選択される1種以上を含む、請求項1に記載のリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。
- 前記遷移金属‐フェロシアニド化合物は鉄(III)フェロシアニドを含む、請求項1又は2に記載のリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。
- 前記遷移金属‐フェロシアニド化合物は水分含量が10重量%以下である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。
- 前記遷移金属‐フェロシアニド化合物は格子構造内の水分を取り除くために真空乾燥処理したものである、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。
- 前記遷移金属‐フェロシアニド化合物は正極活物質層全体100重量%を基準にして1ないし20重量%で含まれる、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。
- 前記正極活物質は硫黄‐炭素複合体を含む、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。
- 前記硫黄‐炭素複合体は、多孔性炭素材及び前記多孔性炭素材の内部及び外部表面の中で少なくとも一部に硫黄を含むものである、請求項7に記載のリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。
- 前記多孔性炭素材は、グラファイト、グラフェン、カーボンブラック、炭素ナノチューブ、炭素繊維、黒鉛及び活性炭素からなる群から選択される1種以上を含む、請求項8に記載のリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。
- 前記硫黄は、無機硫黄、Li2Sn(n≧1)、ジスルフィド化合物、有機硫黄化合物及び炭素‐硫黄ポリマー((C2Sx)n、x=2.5ないし50、n≧2)からなる群から選択される1種以上を含む、請求項8又は9に記載のリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。
- 前記硫黄は硫黄‐炭素複合体全体100重量%を基準にして65重量%ないし90重量%で含まれる、請求項8~10のいずれか一項に記載のリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。
- 前記正極は硫黄のローディング量が6mg/cm2ないし8mg/cm2である、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載のリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極。
- 請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載のリチウム‐硫黄電池用正極;
負極及び
電解質を含む、リチウム‐硫黄電池。
