Abstract
Description
図1-3に示された基本構成を備え、下記の表1に示された仕様を備えた重荷重用空気入りタイヤ(タイヤサイズ=355/50R22.5)を得た。
軸方向においてショルダー周方向溝の内側にフルバンドの端を配置させるとともに、エッジバンドを設けなかった他は実施例1と同様にして、比較例1のタイヤを得た。軸方向においてフルバンドの端がショルダー周方向溝の内側に位置することが、表1の「フルバンド端」の欄に「N]で表されている。
距離We及び比率(SF/WS)を下記の表1に示される通りとした他は実施例1と同様にして、実施例2-4のタイヤを得た。
フルバンドの径方向内側に位置するベルトプライの枚数、並びに、距離We及び比率(SF/WS)を下記の表2に示される通りとした他は実施例1と同様にして、実施例5-8のタイヤを得た。
試作タイヤをリム(11.75×22.5)に組み込み、空気を充填しタイヤの内圧を正規内圧に調整した。このタイヤをドラム試験機において80km/hの速度で1000km走行させ、ショルダー周方向溝の内側におけるケースラインのプロファイルを得た。このケースラインのプロファイルを走行前のケースラインのプロファイルと対比させて、走行前後のプロファイルの変化を確認した。その結果が、下記の格付けにしたがった指数で下記の表1及び表2に表されている。数値が大きいほど、プロファイルの変化が抑えられていることを表す。この走行試験では、正規荷重がタイヤに付与された。

試作タイヤをリム(11.75×22.5)に組み込み,空気を充填しタイヤの内圧を正規内圧に調整した。このタイヤを試験車両(トラックターヘッド)のドライブ軸に装着した。荷物を積載したトレーラーをこの試験車両に牽引させて、一般道路でこの試験車両を走行させた。質量換算でタイヤの摩耗率が30%に達した時点で、試作タイヤのショルダー陸部の摩耗量とミドル陸部の摩耗量との差を算出した。その結果が、比較例1を100とした指数で下記の表1及び表2に表されている。数値が大きいほど、摩耗量の差は小さく、耐偏摩耗性に優れることを表す。
前述の耐偏摩耗性の評価を行ったタイヤを、シアログラフィ又はX線により検査し、内部損傷の有無を確認した。内部損傷が確認された場合は、タイヤを解体し、この内部損傷がフルバンドのバンドコードの破断であるかを確認した。その結果が、下記の格付けにしたがって下記の表1及び表2に表されている。

- 65%以下の偏平比の呼びを有し、
路面と接地するトレッドと、径方向において前記トレッドの内側に位置する補強層とを備え、
前記トレッドに少なくとも3本の周方向溝を刻むことで、軸方向に並列した少なくとも4本の陸部が構成され、前記少なくとも3本の周方向溝のうち軸方向において外側に位置する周方向溝がショルダー周方向溝であり、軸方向において前記ショルダー周方向溝の外側に位置する陸部がショルダー陸部であり、
前記補強層が、並列した多数のベルトコードを含むベルトと、螺旋状に巻かれたバンドコードを含むバンドとを備え、
前記ベルトが径方向に並ぶ複数のベルトプライを備え、
前記バンドが、赤道面を挟んで相対する両端を有するフルバンドと、径方向において前記フルバンドの端の外側に位置する一対のエッジバンドとを備え、
軸方向において、前記フルバンドの端が前記ショルダー周方向溝の外側に位置する、
重荷重用空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記ショルダー周方向溝から前記フルバンドの端までの軸方向距離の、前記ショルダー陸部の軸方向幅に対する比率が10%以上50%以下である、
