Abstract

Claims (20)
- ポリマーチューブを備えたカテーテルであって、前記ポリマーチューブの少なくとも一部が、透磁率μrの組織を通して距離xで知られている磁場Bを生成するように磁化された磁化部分を備え、知られている磁場の測定された強度および方向、ならびに選択された前記距離での前記知られている磁場と前記組織の前記透磁率との間の相関付けに基づいて、カテーテルの位置が磁力計によって検出可能であり、前記相関付けは、x=f(B,μr)として計算される、カテーテル。
- 前記磁化部が、ポリマー中に分散させた磁気材料を備えた磁化組成物を含む、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記磁化組成物は、前記ポリマーチュービング上に、磁化不能な内側層を取り囲む磁化外側層である磁化層を形成する、請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記磁化部分は、不透過性成分をさらに含む請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 放射線不透過性成分が、硫酸バリウム、亜炭酸ビスマス、オキシ塩化ビスマス、三酸化ビスマス、タングステンおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項4に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記磁化組成物は、硫酸バリウム、次炭酸ビスマス、オキシ塩化ビスマス、三酸化ビスマス、タングステンおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される不透過性成分をさらに含む請求項3に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記磁化部分は、前記チュービングの内面と外面との間に磁化長手方向セグメントを形成し、前記磁化長手方向セグメントは、長手方向の磁化不能なセグメントによって分離される請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記磁化部分は、磁化組成物を含む請求項7に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記磁化部分は、前記ポリマーチュービングと共成形された、磁化ワイヤを含む請求項7に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記磁化部分は、不透過性成分をさらに含む請求項7に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記不透過性成分は、硫酸バリウム、次炭酸ビスマス、オキシ塩化ビスマス、三酸化ビスマス、タングステンおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される請求項10に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記磁気材料は、前記ポリマーの少なくとも一部分内に均一に分散される請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記磁化部分は、前記カテーテルの内面と外面との間に磁化長手方向セグメントを形成し、前記磁化長手方向セグメントは、不透過性材料を含む磁化不能な長手方向セグメントによって分離される請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記磁気材料は、粉末状鉄、酸化鉄磁性体、酸化チタン磁性体、粉末状鉄磁性体、鉄合金磁性体、クロム、マグネシウム、およびモリブデンの1つを含む常磁性または強磁性の化合物、ならびにそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記鉄合金磁性体は、ニッケル、亜鉛、および/または銅との合金である請求項14に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記磁化組成物中の前記磁気材料は、前記ポリマーの15%(w/w)未満である請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記磁化組成物中の前記磁気材料は、前記ポリマーの10%(w/w)未満である請求項16に記載のカテーテル。
