Abstract
Description
ii)亜鉛イオン、マンガンイオン、及びリン酸イオンを含む、酸性で水性の、実質的にニッケル非含有のリン酸塩処理組成物。
本発明の方法は、コーティングされていない金属表面、又は既に化成コーティングされている金属表面のいずれかの処理に使用することができる。従って、以下の「金属表面」への言及は、既に化成コーティングされている金属表面も含むと常にみなすものとする。しかしながら、好ましくは、当該金属表面は、コーティングされていない。
ii)五ナトリウムトリポリホスフェート及びグルコネート。
遊離酸(FA):

遊離酸の測定のために、10mlのリン酸塩処理組成物を、300mlの三角フラスコなどの適した容器にピペットを使って入れる。リン酸塩処理組成物がフッ化物錯塩を含有する場合、さらなる2〜3gの塩化カリウムを試料に添加する。次いで、pH計及び電極を使用して、0.1M NaOHによって3.6のpHになるまで滴定を実施する。リン酸塩処理組成物10ml当たりのmlとしてのこの滴定において消費された0.1M NaOHの量により、遊離酸(FA)の値が段階的に得られる。

遊離酸(希釈酸)の測定のために、10mlのリン酸塩処理組成物を、300mlの三角フラスコなどの適した容器にピペットを使って入れる。次いで、150mlの完全脱塩水を添加する。pH計及び電極を使用して、4.7のpHになるまで0.1M NaOHによる滴定を実施する。希釈したリン酸塩処理組成物10ml当たりのmlとしてのこの滴定において消費された0.1M NaOHの量により、遊離酸(希釈酸)(FA(dil.))の値が段階的に得られる。遊離酸(FA)との差から、フッ化物錯塩の量を確認することが可能である。この差を0.36倍にすると、その結果は、フッ化物錯塩のSiF6 2−としてのg/lでの量である。

遊離酸(希釈酸)の測定に続き、希釈したリン酸塩処理組成物をシュウ酸カリウム溶液に添加した後、pH計及び電極を使用して、8.9のpHになるまで0.1M NaOHによって滴定する。この手順において、希釈したリン酸塩処理組成物10ml当たりのmlとしての0.1M NaOHの消費により、Fischer法による総酸(TAF)が段階的に得られる。この値に0.71をかけると、その結果は、P2O5として算出されたリン酸イオンの総量である。

総酸(TA)は、存在する二価カチオン、及び遊離したリン酸及び結合したリン酸(後者はホスフェートである)の合計である。総酸は、pH計及び電極を使用して、0.1M NaOHの消費によって測定される。この目的のために、10mlのリン酸塩処理組成物を、300mlの三角フラスコなどの適した容器にピペットを使って入れ、25mlの完全脱塩水によって希釈する。これに続いて、9のpHになるように0.1M NaOHによる滴定を実施する。この手順の間の、希釈したリン酸塩処理組成物10ml当たりのmlとしての消費が、段階的な総酸(TA)の数値に対応する。

酸価(A値)は、FA:TAFの比を表し、遊離酸(FA)の数値をFischer法による総酸(TAF)の値で割ることによって得られる。
成分を完全脱塩水中で混合し、pHを任意にリン酸で調整し(洗浄浴A)、次いで混合物を50〜70倍に希釈して、以下の洗浄浴を生成した。
溶融亜鉛めっき鋼(EA)、電解亜鉛めっき鋼(G)、及びアルミニウム合金AA6014(Al)の試験パネルを、洗浄浴AからDのうちの1つに60℃で300秒間浸漬し、その後0.6g/lの亜鉛ホスフェートを含有する活性化浴に25℃で30秒間浸漬した。次いで試験パネルを、リン酸塩浴A’からC’のうちの1つに45℃で180秒間浸漬し、その後上記の後すすぎ浴に25℃で30秒間浸漬した。完全脱塩水で徹底的にすすいだ後、試験パネルをさらにカソード電着コーティング及び標準の自動車コーティング系(フィラー、ベースコート、クリアコート)でコーティングした。
このように前処理及びコーティングした試験パネルを後続してDIN EN ISO2409クロスカット試験に供した。各場合、凝縮水への240時間の曝露前後の3枚のパネルを試験した(DIN EN ISO6270−2CH)。対応する結果(平均値)は、表1に見出される。これらの結果において、0のクロスカット結果が最も良く、5の結果が最も悪い結果である。ここで0及び1の結果は、同等の品質である。
表1のクロスカットの結果は、溶融亜鉛めっき鋼及び電解亜鉛めっき鋼の両方において、ニッケル含有リン酸塩よりもニッケル非含有の場合の方でコーティング付着性の低下を明確に示す(VB2対VB1、VB4対VB3を参照)。本発明の洗浄浴の使用により、ニッケル非含有変種の場合、ニッケル含有の変種のそれにほぼ対応するコーティング付着性を達成することが可能である(B1対VB1及びB2対VB3を参照)。
Claims (15)
- 金属表面を実質的にニッケル非含有でリン酸塩処理する方法であって、金属表面を次々に以下の組成物:
i)少なくとも1種の水溶性シリケートを含むアルカリ性の水性洗浄剤組成物、及び次いで、
ii)亜鉛イオン、マンガンイオン、及びリン酸イオンを含む、酸性で水性の、実質的にニッケル非含有のリン酸塩処理組成物、
で処理することを含む方法。 - 前記洗浄剤組成物のpHが、10.7〜12.0の範囲、好ましくは11.0〜12.0、より好ましくは11.3〜12.0、及び非常に好ましくは11.5〜12.0の範囲にある、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記金属表面が少なくとも部分的に亜鉛めっきされている、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1種の水溶性シリケートが、少なくとも1種の水ガラス、及び/又は少なくとも1種のメタシリケートを含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1種の水溶性シリケートが、少なくとも1種のナトリウム水ガラス及び/又はカリウム水ガラスを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1種の水溶性シリケートが、0.01〜15g/l、好ましくは0.2〜13g/l、及びより好ましくは0.5〜10g/lの範囲の総濃度で存在する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記洗浄剤組成物が、少なくとも1種のリン含有錯化剤、及び/又は少なくとも1種のヒドロキシカルボン酸又はその塩を含む、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
