Description
また、本発明は、ダイキャスト素材により形成される魚釣用リールの構成部材の製造方法であって、前記ダイキャスト素材上にこのダイキャスト素材のアルミニウム純度に比して高純度なアルミニウムにより形成されるコーティング層と、このコーティング層上に陽極酸化処理により形成される防食層とを有する第1の表面処理領域を形成し、前記構成部材の精密仕上げ部位で前記コーティング層を伴わないように前記ダイキャスト素材上に前記陽極酸化処理により前記防食層を形成することによって第2の表面処理領域を形成することを特徴とする。
本発明は、このように魚釣用リールの構成部材である単一の部材(リール本体、カバー部材、ロータ、ハンドル、外装部材等)に施される表面処理を、要求される機能(駆動部の高精度支持、重厚な光輝外観色調、耐食性)に応じて適所の部位に、異なる特性の防食層を形成することで効果的に使い分けることが可能となり、実用性が格別に向上する。
まず最初に、この発明の一実施形態に係る魚釣用リールの構成部材を説明するのに先立ち、本発明が適用される魚釣用リールの概略構成についてスピニングリールを例にとって図1を参照して説明する。

Claims (8)
- ダイキャスト素材により形成される魚釣用リールの構成部材であって、
前記ダイキャスト素材上にこのダイキャスト素材のアルミニウム純度に比して高純度なアルミニウムにより形成されるコーティング層と、このコーティング層上に陽極酸化処理により形成される防食層とを有する第1の表面処理領域と、
マスキングにより前記コーティング層が形成されない前記構成部材の精密仕上げ部位で前記ダイキャスト素材上に前記陽極酸化処理により形成される防食層を有する第2の表面処理領域と、
を備えることを特徴とする魚釣用リールの構成部材。 - 前記精密仕上げ部位を除く表面部位を有し、前記表面部位が前記第1の表面処理領域に対応することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の魚釣用リールの構成部材。
- 少なくとも外部に露出する外表面部が前記第1の表面処理領域に対応することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の魚釣用リールの構成部材。
- ダイキャスト素材により形成される魚釣用リールの構成部材の製造方法であって、
前記ダイキャスト素材上にこのダイキャスト素材のアルミニウム純度に比して高純度なアルミニウムにより形成されるコーティング層と、このコーティング層上に陽極酸化処理により形成される防食層とを有する第1の表面処理領域を形成し、
前記構成部材の精密仕上げ部位で前記コーティング層を伴わないように前記ダイキャスト素材上に前記陽極酸化処理により前記防食層を形成することによって第2の表面処理領域を形成する、
ことを特徴とする魚釣用リールの構成部材の製造方法。 - 前記第2の表面処理領域は、前記精密仕上げ部位で前記コーティング層を形成した後にこれを切削して前記陽極酸化処理することにより形成し、前記切削により前記精密仕上げ部位を形成することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の魚釣用リールの構成部材の製造方法。
- 前記第2の表面処理領域は、前記精密仕上げ部位をマスキングしつつ前記コーティング層を形成した後、前記マスキングにより前記コーティング層が形成されない前記精密仕上げ部位における前記ダイキャスト素材上に前記陽極酸化処理を施すことにより形成することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の魚釣用リールの構成部材の製造方法。
- 前記魚釣用リールの前記構成部材が前記精密仕上げ部位を除く表面部位を有し、前記表面部位が前記第1の表面処理領域に対応することを特徴とする請求項4から6のいずれか一項に記載の魚釣用リールの構成部材の製造方法。
- 前記魚釣用リールの前記構成部材の少なくとも外部に露出する外表面部が前記第1の表面処理領域に対応することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の魚釣用リールの構成部材の製造方法。
