Abstract
Description
(1)緑茶抽出物と柑橘類抽出物とを含む組成物であって、上記緑茶抽出物に含まれるエピガロカテキンガレート(A)と上記柑橘類抽出物に含まれるフラバノン配糖体(B)との比(B/A)が0.2<B/A<1.6であるか、エピガロカテキンガレート(A)と上記柑橘類抽出物に含まれるエリオシトリン(C)との比(C/A)が0.2<C/A<0.5であることを特徴とする緑茶抽出物含有組成物。
(2)上記比(B/A)が0.4≦B/A≦0.8であることを特徴とする(1)記載の緑茶抽出物含有組成物。
(3)上記比(C/A)が0.25≦C/A≦0.34であることを特徴とする(1)記載の緑茶抽出物含有組成物。
(4)上記フラバノン配糖体は糖転移ヘスペリジンであることを特徴とする(1)記載の緑茶抽出物含有組成物。
(5)緑茶抽出物と柑橘類抽出物とを含み、上記緑茶抽出物に含まれるエピガロカテキンガレート(A)と上記柑橘類抽出物に含まれるフラバノン配糖体(B)との比(B/A)が0.2<B/A<1.6であるか、エピガロカテキンガレート(A)と上記柑橘類抽出物に含まれるエリオシトリン(C)との比(C/A)が0.2<C/A<0.5である、機能性食品。
(6)上記比(B/A)が0.4≦B/A≦0.8であることを特徴とする(5)記載の機能性食品。
(7)上記比(C/A)が0.25≦C/A≦0.34であることを特徴とする(5)記載の機能性食品。
(8)上記フラバノン配糖体は糖転移ヘスペリジンであることを特徴とする(5)記載の機能性食品。
本発明に係る組成物及び機能性食品は、緑茶抽出物と柑橘類抽出物とを含み、上記緑茶抽出物に含まれるエピガロカテキンガレート(A)と上記柑橘類抽出物に含まれるフラバノン配糖体(B)との比(B/A)が0.2<B/A<1.6であるか、又はエピガロカテキンガレート(A)と上記柑橘類抽出物に含まれるエリオシトリン(C)との比(C/A)が0.2<C/A<0.5であるといった特徴を有する。
緑茶抽出物は、ツバキ科の常緑樹である茶の木より作製した抽出物であり、少なくともエピガロカテキンガレートを含む抽出物である。緑茶の木としては、カメリアタリエンシス、カメリアシネンシスなどの茶の木が挙げられる。例えばチャノキ(Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze)、アッサムチャ(Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze var. assamica (J.W.Mast.) Kitam.)、カメリアシネンシスとカメリアタリエンシスの交配種、「やぶきた」、「べにふうき」、「べにふじ」、「べにほまれ」、「やえほ」、「するがわせ」、「ゆたかみどり」、「かなやみどり」、「おくむさし」、「青心大パン」、「青心烏龍」、「大葉烏龍」、「紅花」、「べにひかり」、「やまかい」、「やまみどり」、「からべに」、「香駿」、「そうふう」、「ふくみどり」、「みねかおり」、「べにひかり」、「みなみかおり」、「いずみ」、「ふうしゅん」、「たまみどり」、「やまかい」、「くりたわせ」、「しゅんめい」、「さやまみどり」、「あさぎり」、「ほくめい」、「ただにしき」、「あさひ」、「さやまかおり」、「めいりょく」、「やまとみどり」、「あさつゆ」、「とよか」、「なつみどり」、「うじひかり」、「おおいわせ」、「ごこう」、「印雑 131」、「まきのはらわせ」、「たかちほ」、「こまかげ」、「さみどり」、「こまかげ」、「はつもみじ」、「りょうふう」、「みなみさやか」、「さえみどり」、「おくゆたか」、「ふじみどり」、「サンルージュ」及び「おくみどり」などの茶品種が用いられ、「やぶきた」、「べにふうき」、「かなやみどり」、「おくむさし」、「そうふう」、「ふうしゅん」、「ただにしき」、「サンルージュ」がより好ましい。また、これらの茶の木からの茶葉の例としては煎茶、玉露、番茶、茎茶、芽茶、玄米茶、粉茶、抹茶、釜煎り茶、甜茶、包種茶、ウーロン茶、紅茶等が挙げられる。
柑橘類抽出物は、柑橘類からの抽出処理物であり、少なくともエリオシトリン又はフラバノン配糖体を含有している。柑橘類としては、例えば以下のものが挙げられる。
本発明に係る組成物は、緑茶抽出物に含まれるエピガロカテキンガレート(A)と柑橘類抽出物に含まれるフラバノン配糖体(B)との比(B/A)が0.2<B/A<1.6であるか、又はエピガロカテキンガレート(A)とエリオシトリン(C)との比(C/A)が0.2<C/A<0.5であるといった特徴を有する。特に、比(B/A)は0.4≦B/A≦0.8とすることが好ましく、0.5≦B/A≦0.7とすることが更に好ましい。また、比(C/A)は0.25≦C/A≦0.34とすることが好ましく、C/A=0.3が更に好ましい。
本発明に係る食品は、緑茶抽出物と柑橘類抽出物とを含み、緑茶抽出物に含まれるエピガロカテキンガレート(A)と柑橘類抽出物に含まれるフラバノン配糖体(B)との比(B/A)が0.2<B/A<1.6であるか、又はエピガロカテキンガレート(A)と柑橘類抽出物に含まれるエリオシトリン(C)との比(C/A)が0.2<C/A<0.5であるといった特徴を有する。本食品は、これら成分を所定の比率で有するため、特に抗がん作用、抗筋萎縮作用、抗肥満作用、抗炎症作用、コレステロール低下作用、血栓又は脳梗塞予防作用及び免疫増強作用からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つの作用を目的とした機能性食品、サプリメント等として使用することができる。
緑茶抽出物に含まれるエピガロカテキンガレート(A)と柑橘類抽出物に含まれるフラバノン配糖体(B)との比(B/A)が0.2<B/A<1.6であるか、又はエピガロカテキンガレート(A)と柑橘類抽出物に含まれるエリオシトリン(C)との比(C/A)が0.2<C/A<0.5となるように緑茶抽出物と柑橘類抽出物と配合することで、エピガロカテキンガレートのもつ抗がん作用、抗肥満作用、抗炎症作用、コレステロール低下作用、抗血栓性作用、免疫増強作用及び抗筋萎縮作用等を増強する。すなわち、柑橘類抽出物に含まれるフラバノン配糖体(B)又はエリオシトリン(C)を含むエピガロカテキンガレート増強剤は、エピガロカテキンガレート(A)との比が0.2<B/A<1.6、0.2<C/A<0.5となるように配合される。エピガロカテキンガレート増強剤は、言い換えると、エピガロカテキンガレートによる抗がん作用、抗筋萎縮作用、抗肥満作用、抗炎症作用、コレステロール低下作用、血栓又は脳梗塞予防作用及び免疫増強作用からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つの作用の増強剤である。
<投与例1>
雄性C57BL/6Jマウス(6週齢、体重25g、n=3又は6/group)(九動株式会社)に対してEGCG(SIGMA-ALDRICH社)と、各種フラボノイド(エリオシトリン:ALB Technology社、糖転移ヘスペリジン:株式会社林原、エリオジクチオール:EXTRASYNTHESE社)とを純水に溶解し、ゾンデを用いて経口投与した。
雄性C57BL/6Jマウス(6週齢、体重25 g、n=5又は6/group)(九動株式会社)に対して緑茶抽出物(1 gあたり146 mgのEGCG含有)と糖転移ヘスペリジン(αヘスペリジン PA-T、グリコ栄養食品株式会社)とを純水に溶解し、ゾンデを用いて経口投与した。
比較として、上記投与例2の方法に倣って、緑茶抽出物のみを投与したグループと、種々の用量で糖転移ヘスペリジンを投与したグループについてcGMP濃度を測定した結果を図1に示した。また、投与例1による実験結果及び投与例2による実験結果を図2及び3にそれぞれ示した。なお、図1〜3に示した投与量は全てマウスkgあたりの投与量である(マウス投与量(mg/kg))。
Claims (8)
- 緑茶抽出物と柑橘類抽出物とを含む組成物であって、上記緑茶抽出物に含まれるエピガロカテキンガレート(A)と上記柑橘類抽出物に含まれるフラバノン配糖体(B)との比(B/A)が0.2<B/A<1.6であるか、エピガロカテキンガレート(A)と上記柑橘類抽出物に含まれるエリオシトリン(C)との比(C/A)が0.2<C/A<0.5であることを特徴とする緑茶抽出物含有組成物。
- 上記比(B/A)が0.4≦B/A≦0.8であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の緑茶抽出物含有組成物。
- 上記比(C/A)が0.25≦C/A≦0.34であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の緑茶抽出物含有組成物。
- 上記フラバノン配糖体は糖転移ヘスペリジンであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の緑茶抽出物含有組成物。
- 緑茶抽出物と柑橘類抽出物とを含み、上記緑茶抽出物に含まれるエピガロカテキンガレート(A)と上記柑橘類抽出物に含まれるフラバノン配糖体(B)との比(B/A)が0.2<B/A<1.6であるか、エピガロカテキンガレート(A)と上記柑橘類抽出物に含まれるエリオシトリン(C)との比(C/A)が0.2<C/A<0.5である、機能性食品。
- 上記比(B/A)が0.4≦B/A≦0.8であることを特徴とする請求項5記載の機能性食品。
- 上記比(C/A)が0.25≦C/A≦0.34であることを特徴とする請求項5記載の機能性食品。
- 上記フラバノン配糖体は糖転移ヘスペリジンであることを特徴とする請求項5記載の機能性食品。
