Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係る画像形成装置の全体構成を示す概略図である。
この画像形成装置1は、カラーレーザープリンタであり、そのプリンタ本体の中央には、中間転写ベルト30の展張方向に沿って4つの作像部4Y、4C、4M、4Kが並置して設けられている。各作像部4Y、4C、4M、4Kは、カラー画像の色分解成分に対応するイエロー(Y)、シアン(C)、マゼンタ(M)、ブラック(K)の異なる色の現像剤を収容する以外は、同じ構成である。
上記実施形態では、固体潤滑剤として二硫化モリブデンを用いたがこれに限定されない。代替として、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)又はフッ素グリスをアルマイト層54の複数の微細孔54aに含浸し、充填することもできる。

Claims (5)
- 回転可能に設けられた無端状の定着部材と、
前記定着部材を加熱する熱源と、
前記定着部材の外側に設けられ、前記定着部材に対向する加圧部材と、
前記定着部材の内側に設けられ、前記定着部材と前記加圧部材との間にニップ部を形成するニップ形成部材と、
前記ニップ形成部材の前記定着部材に対向する面を覆い、前記定着部材の長手方向に熱を移動する均熱部材と
を備える定着装置において、
前記定着部材は、少なくとも、金属で形成された円筒状の基材と、前記基材の内周面に耐熱性樹脂で形成された摺動層とを有し、
前記均熱部材は、アルミニウム又はアルミニウム合金で形成され、前記定着部材の内周面に対向する表面にアルマイト層を有し、前記アルマイト層の複数の微細孔に前記アルマイト層よりも摩擦係数の低い固体潤滑剤が充填され、
前記アルマイト層の厚さは、前記定着部材の前記摺動層の厚さよりも小さいことを特徴とする定着装置。 - 前記固体潤滑剤は二硫化モリブデンであり、前記複数の微細孔の基底部から最表層に亘って充填されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の定着装置。
- 前記固体潤滑剤はポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)又はフッ素グリスであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の定着装置。
- 前記アルマイト層の厚さは、10μmよりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の定着装置。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の定着装置を備える画像形成装置。
