Claims (32)
- C8〜C12脂肪酸側鎖で強化されたトリグリセリドを生成する方法であって、(1)脂肪酸メチルエステルの分留と、(2)少なくとも13%のC8(カプリル酸)、少なくとも8%のC10(カプリン酸)、及び少なくとも5%のC12(ラウリン酸)脂肪酸メチルエステル、及び5%未満の他の脂肪酸又はそれらのエステルを含む留分を収集することと、(3)前記C8〜C12脂肪酸メチルエステルをグリセロールとエステル化して、C8、C10、及びC12脂肪酸側鎖長を有するトリグリセリドを形成することと、を備える方法。
- 前記脂肪酸メチルエステルが蒸留手段によって分留される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記脂肪酸メチルエステルがC8〜C12及びC12〜C18留分に分留される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセスが半連続的である、請求項1から3に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセスが連続的である、請求項1から3に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセスがバッチで行われる、請求項1から3に記載の方法。

- ステップ(3)の前記触媒が、無機酸触媒、アルカリ系触媒、及び金属酸化物触媒から選択される、請求項1から3に記載の方法。
- ステップ(3)の前記触媒が、メタンスルホン酸、ナトリウムメチラート、及びブチルスタンノン酸のチタン酸塩から選択される、請求項1から3に記載の方法。
- 前記エステル化率が95%以上である、請求項1から3に記載の方法。
- トリグリセリド組成物を精製してメタノールを除去する手段が、組み込まれた以下のもの、すなわち(1)調節された窒素流を用いて真空下で加熱すること、(2)前記トリグリセリドを加熱し、圧力リーフフィルタを通過させること、(3)漂白土及び活性炭を加え、前記物質に圧力フィルタリーフを通過させること、のうち1つ又はそれらの組み合わせから選択される、請求項1から3に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法から得られる中鎖脂肪酸トリグリセリドの組成物であって、少なくとも13%のC8(カプリル酸)、少なくとも8%のC10(カプリン酸)、及び少なくとも20%のC12(ラウリン酸)、及び5%未満の含有量の他の脂肪酸を含む、組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の方法から得られる中鎖脂肪酸トリグリセリドの組成物であって、35〜45%のC8、25〜31%のC10、及び少なくとも20%のC12、及び5%未満の含有量の他の脂肪酸を含む、組成物。
- 少なくとも13%のC8(カプリル酸)、少なくとも8%のC10(カプリン酸)、及び少なくとも20%のC12(ラウリン酸)、及び5%未満の含有量の他の脂肪酸を含む、中鎖脂肪酸トリグリセリドの組成物。
- 前記トリグリセリドが、少なくとも35%のC8(カプリル酸)、少なくとも25%のC10(カプリン酸)、及び少なくとも20%のC12(ラウリン酸)、及び5%未満の含有量の他の脂肪酸を含む、請求項22に記載の組成物。
- 前記得られた脂肪酸が全体的に又は部分的にココナッツから得られる、請求項20から23に記載の組成物。
- 前記得られた脂肪酸が全体的に又は部分的にパーム核から得られる、請求項20から23に記載の組成物。
- 少なくとも抗酸化物質が添加される、請求項20から23に記載の組成物。
- 前記抗酸化物質がクエン酸である、請求項26に記載の組成物。
- 請求項19から25に記載の組成物を含む増粘物質又はゲル化剤。
- 請求項20から27に記載の組成物が、ベントナイト粘土、ヒュームドシリカ、及びケイ酸アルミニウムマグネシウムのうち少なくとも1つに組み込まれている、請求項28に記載の増粘物質又はゲル化剤。
- 請求項20から27に記載の組成物を含む食品乳化剤。
- 請求項20から27に記載の組成物が、ステアリン酸又はオレイン酸の蒸留モノグリセリド、ポリグレセロール脂肪酸エステル、又はポリエトキシレート化ソルビタンエステルの群のうち少なくとも1つに組み込まれている、請求項30に記載の食品乳化剤。
