Abstract
Description
上記課題を解決するための本発明の第1の態様の三次元造形物の製造装置は、造形テーブルと、前記造形テーブルに粉末層を形成する層形成部と、前記粉末層における三次元造形物の造形領域にバインダーを含む液体をノズルから吐出するヘッドと、前記造形テーブルに対する前記ヘッドの移動と、電圧を印可することによる前記ヘッドの駆動と、を制御する制御部と、を備え、前記制御部は、前記造形領域への前記液体の吐出後に、前記造形領域とは異なる位置であるフラッシング位置において前記ノズルから前記液体を吐出するフラッシング動作を実行し、前記フラッシング動作時の印可電圧が、前記造形領域への前記液体の吐出時の印可電圧よりも高くなるように制御することを特徴とする。
最初に、本発明の三次元造形物の製造方法を実行可能な三次元造形物の製造装置1の一実施例について図1を参照して説明する。ここで、図1及び後述する図2における図中のX方向は水平方向であり供給ユニット8の往復移動方向に対応し、このうち、X1方向は往方向、X2方向は復方向に対応する。また、Y方向は水平方向であるとともにX方向と直交する方向であり、ローラー6の回転軸の延びる方向に対応する。また、Z方向は鉛直方向であり、層500の積層方向に対応する。

Claims (8)
- 造形テーブルと、
前記造形テーブルに粉末層を形成する層形成部と、
前記粉末層における三次元造形物の造形領域にバインダーを含む液体をノズルから吐出するヘッドと、
前記造形テーブルに対する前記ヘッドの移動と、電圧を印可することによる前記ヘッドの駆動と、を制御する制御部と、
を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記造形領域への前記液体の吐出後に、前記造形領域とは異なる位置であるフラッシング位置において前記ノズルから前記液体を吐出するフラッシング動作を実行し、
前記フラッシング動作時の印可電圧が、前記造形領域への前記液体の吐出時の印可電圧よりも高くなるように制御することを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 造形テーブルと、
前記造形テーブルに粉末層を形成する層形成部と、
前記粉末層における三次元造形物の造形領域にバインダーを含む液体をノズルから吐出するヘッドと、
前記造形テーブルに対する前記ヘッドの移動と、電圧を印可することによる前記ヘッドの駆動と、を制御する制御部と、
を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記造形領域への前記液体の吐出後に、前記造形領域とは異なる位置であるフラッシング位置において前記ノズルから前記液体を吐出するフラッシング動作を実行し、
前記フラッシング動作時の単位時間当たりの前記液体の吐出量が、前記造形領域への前記液体の吐出時の単位時間当たりの前記液体の吐出量よりも多くなるように印可電圧の波形を制御することを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載された三次元造形物の製造装置において、
前記制御部は、前記造形領域と前記フラッシング位置との間隔が長くなるにしたがって、前記フラッシング位置におけるフラッシング動作時間を長くするように制御することを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 請求項3に記載された三次元造形物の製造装置において、
前記制御部は、前記間隔が所定の長さ以下の場合、前記フラッシング位置に前記ヘッドを停止させて前記フラッシング動作を実行することを省略するように制御することを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載された三次元造形物の製造装置において、
前記制御部は、前記造形領域への前記液体の吐出に先立って、前記造形領域への前記液体の吐出時の印可電圧よりも低い印可電圧で、造形前フラッシング動作を実行するように制御することを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載された三次元造形物の製造装置において、
前記制御部は、前記造形領域への前記液体の吐出時において前記造形テーブルに対して前記ヘッドを異なる移動速度で移動でき、前記移動速度が速くなるにしたがって、前記フラッシング位置におけるフラッシング動作時間を長くするように制御することを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載された三次元造形物の製造装置において、
前記ノズルの温度を検出する温度センサーを備え、
前記制御部は、前記フラッシング動作の実行後の前記ノズルの温度が所定の温度以下となるまで、前記フラッシング動作を実行することなく前記フラッシング位置に前記ヘッドを停止させておくように制御することを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載された三次元造形物の製造装置において、
前記ノズルの温度を検出する温度センサーを備え、
前記制御部は、前記フラッシング動作を前記ノズルの温度が所定の温度以上となるまで実行するように制御することを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。
