- 前記可撓性ポリマーがシリコーンである、請求項28に記載の人工弁。
- 前記リーフレット保持部材が、隣接して位置する複数のストラットを含むボディを有しており、前記ストラットが前記ボディの第1側から延びており、隣接して位置するストラット間に領域が画定されており、そして、前記隣接して位置するストラットが前記フレーム突起に係合するように、前記第1フレーム突起が、前記隣接して位置するストラット間に画定された前記領域を通って延びている、請求項22から28までのいずれか1項に記載の弁。
- 前記リーフレット保持部材の前記ボディがさらに第1端部、前記第1端部とは反対側の第2端部、前記第1端部と第2端部との間に延びる第1側、前記第1端部と第2端部との間に延びる第2側を含み、前記隣接して位置するストラットが前記第1側と第2側との間に延びて前記第1端部と第2端部との間に位置しており、前記リーフレット保持部材が第1セルと第2セルとを含み、前記第1セルが前記第1側と前記ストラットとの間に画定され、そして前記第2セルが前記第2側と前記ストラットとの間に前記第1セルに隣接して画定されており、前記第1フレーム突起が前記第1セルを通って延びていて、前記第2フレーム突起が前記第2セルを通って延びている、請求項29に記載の弁。
- 前記第1及び第2リーフレットがそれぞれ、前記それぞれのリーフレットのリーフレット自由縁部とリーフレット取り付け領域との交差部分に2つの末端を画定し、前記末端に隣接する前記第1及び第2リーフレットの前記リーフレット取り付け領域が、前記末端から離れた位置から前記末端へ互いに末広がり状に延びるように、前記第1及び第2リーフレットの各リーフレットの前記リーフレット取り付け領域が前記フレームにカップリングされる、請求項17から30までのいずれか1項に記載の人工弁。
- 前記フレームが、それぞれ遠位端を有する2つのリーフレット支持取り付け領域を画定する複数の支持取り付け領域を含み、前記それぞれの2つの支持取り付け領域が、前記それぞれの遠位端から離れた位置から、それぞれの末広がり領域を画定する前記それぞれの遠位端に向かって互いに末広がり状に延び、そして前記第1及び第2リーフレットがそれぞれ、前記それぞれのリーフレットの2つの末端で交差するリーフレット自由縁部とリーフレット取り付け領域とを画定し、それぞれの末端に隣接する前記第1及び第2リーフレットの各リーフレットのリーフレット取り付け領域が、前記それぞれの末広がり領域に沿って前記それぞれの支持取り付け領域の1つにカップリングされており、前記第1及び第2リーフレットのそれぞれの末端に隣接するそれぞれのリーフレット取り付け領域が、前記それぞれの末端から離れた位置から前記それぞれの末端へ互いに末広がり状に延びる、請求項17から30までのいずれか1項に記載の人工弁。
- 前記フレームが、複数の接合領域を画定する支持構造を含み、前記複数の接合領域がそれぞれ2つの支持取り付け部分を画定し、前記2つの支持取り付け部分が、接合ポスト先端から離れた位置から流出方向に前記接合ポスト先端に向かって互いに末広がり状に延びており、そして前記第1及び第2リーフレットのそれぞれがリーフレット自由縁部に隣接する2つのリーフレット接合取り付け部分を画定し、前記リーフレット接合取り付け部分に位置する前記第1及び第2リーフレットのそれぞれのリーフレット自由縁部が互いに末広がり状に延びるように、前記第1及び第2リーフレットの各リーフレットのそれぞれのリーフレット接合取り付け部分が、前記2つの支持取り付け部分の一方にカップリングされる、請求項17から30までのいずれか1項に記載の人工弁。
- 前記第1及び第2リーフレットの隣接するリーフレット自由縁部が支持構造のところで互いに末広がり状に延びるように、前記第1及び第2リーフレットのそれぞれが、前記支持構造の末広がり領域に沿って前記フレームの支持構造に取り付けられる、請求項17から30までのいずれか1項に記載の人工弁。
- 前記第1及び第2リーフレットのそれぞれがリーフレット自由縁部を含み、支持構造に位置する前記第1及び第2リーフレットの前記リーフレット自由縁部が互いに末広がり状に延びるように、前記第1及び第2リーフレットが、前記支持構造の末広がり領域に沿って前記フレームの支持構造に取り付けられ、これによって、前記末広がり領域に沿った前記リーフレット内部の応力が、所与の支持構造長に関して、約135mmHgのピーク閉鎖圧力に晒された時に、非末広がり型取り付けに対して40%超低減される、請求項17から30までのいずれか1項に記載の人工弁。
- 心臓弁を製造する方法であって、
それぞれのリーフレットがリーフレット取り付け領域を有する、第1リーフレットと第2リーフレットとを含む複数のリーフレットを提供することと、

前記スパインが、前記第1タイン及び第2タインの内縁部が前記スパインに面するように、前記第1タインと第2タインとの間に位置決めされており、
前記複数のスロットが、第1スロット及び第2スロットを含み、前記第1スロットが少なくとも前記第1タインと前記スパインとの間に画定され、そして前記第2スロットが少なくとも前記第2タインと前記スパインとの間に画定されている、フレームを提供することと、
前記第1リーフレットの前記リーフレット取り付け領域を前記第1スロットに通して延ばし、前記第1リーフレットの前記リーフレット取り付け領域が第1突起に係合するように前記第1リーフレットの前記リーフレット取り付け領域を前記第1タインの周りにラッピングすることにより、前記第1リーフレットの前記リーフレット取り付け領域を前記フレームにカップリングすることと、
