Abstract
Description
イソシアネート系架橋剤と、
ロジンエステル系粘着付与性樹脂と、
を含有し、
前記(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体100重量部に対し、前記ロジンエステル系粘着付与性樹脂を1〜40重量部含有し、粘着性組成物の架橋物を含む粘着層を備える画像表示装置用粘着シートであって、
前記粘着層は、1Hzでのtanδの極大値が−20℃以下であり、
前記粘着層は、1Hz、25℃における貯蔵弾性率が1.0×105Pa以下である、画像表示装置用粘着シート。
を備えている、画像表示装置用粘着シート積層体。
(メタ)アクリル酸エステル重合体は、アルキル基の炭素数が2〜20の(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルと、分子内に反応性官能基を有するモノマー(反応性官能基含有モノマー)とを、モノマー単位として含有することが好ましい。これにより、好ましい粘着性を発現することができる。
本実施形態に係る粘着性組成物を加熱すると、イソシアネート系架橋剤は(メタ)アクリル酸エステル重合体を架橋し、三次元網目構造を形成する。これにより、得られる粘着シートの凝集力が向上する。
本実施形態に係るロジンエステル系粘着付与樹脂は、アビエチン酸、パラストリン酸、ネオアビエチン酸、ピマール酸、イソピマール酸、デヒドロアビエチン酸等の樹脂酸を主成分とするガムロジン、ウッドロジン、トール油ロジン等のロジン系粘着付与樹脂と、各種アルコールとのエステルであるロジンエステル系粘着付与樹脂である。
粘着性組成物中には、必要に応じて、アクリル系粘着剤に通常使用されている各種添加剤、例えば、シランカップリング剤、紫外線吸収剤、帯電防止剤、粘着付与剤、酸化防止剤、光安定剤、軟化剤、充填剤、屈折率調整剤などを添加することができる。なお、後述の重合溶媒や希釈溶媒は、粘着性組成物を構成する添加剤に含まれないものとする。
<5−1.粘着シートの厚み>
粘着シートの厚みは、5〜100μmであることが好ましく、10〜50μmであることがさらに好ましい。これは、厚みを5μm未満とすると、カバーフィルムが剥がれやすい可能性があることによる。一方、厚みが100μmを超えると、カバーフィルムを押圧したときに、カバーフィルムが沈み込むため、鉛筆硬度が低下するおそれがある。
本実施形態に係る粘着シートは、1Hzでのtanδの極大値(ガラス転移温度)が−20℃以下であり、且つ1Hz、25℃における貯蔵弾性率が1.0×105Pa以下である。tanδの極大値が低いほど、貯蔵弾性率が低くなり、粘着シートが柔らかくなる。したがって、粘着シートの1Hzでのtanδの極大値は、−30℃以下が好ましく、−50℃以下がさらに好ましい。粘着シートの1Hz、25℃における貯蔵弾性率は、より低いことが好ましく、1.0×105Pa以下であることが好ましく、8.0×104Pa以下であることがより好ましく、5.0×104Pa以下であることがさらに好ましく、3.0×104Pa以下であることが特に好ましい。また、低温においても柔らかさを保つため、粘着シートの1Hz、−20℃における貯蔵弾性率は、1.0×105Pa以下であることが好ましく、7.0×104Pa以下であることがさらに好ましく、5.5×104Pa以下であることが特に好ましい。
本実施形態に係る粘着シートの製造方法は、特には限定されないが、例えば、次のように行うことができる。
次に、本実施形態に係る粘着シート積層体について説明する。図1に示すように、本実施形態に係る粘着シート積層体は、第1剥離シート1と、この第1剥離シート1上に積層された粘着層2と、この粘着層2上に配置された第2剥離シート3と、を備えている。第1及び第2剥離シート1,3は、公知の剥離シートであり、少なくとも一方に剥離面を有している。
上述した粘着シートを介して画像表示装置に貼り付けられるカバーフィルムは、特には限定されず、公知のものを採用することができる。カバーフィルムに上述した粘着シートを取付けるには、種々の方法がある。例えば、上述した粘着シート積層体の第1または第2剥離シート剥がした後、露出した粘着層をカバーフィルムに転写することで、カバーフィルムに取付けることができる。あるいは、カバーフィルムの一方の面に、上述した粘着剤組成物の塗布液を塗布し、加熱処理を行って粘着剤組成物を熱架橋することで、粘着層(粘着シート)を形成することができる。
本発明に係る粘着シートは、貯蔵弾性率が低く、ロジンエステル系粘着性樹脂を含有しているため、この粘着シートが設けられたカバーフィルムを、屈曲部分を有する画像表示装置に沿って貼り付けるとき、屈曲によりカバーフィルムに作用する応力を粘着シートによって緩和することができる。そのため、カバーフィルムが屈曲したときにクラックを含む割れや剥がれが生じるのを防止することができる。
実施例1〜7及び比較例1〜4に係る粘着シートを準備した。さらに、各粘着シートによって、カバーフィルムを対象フィルムに貼り付け、図2に示すような積層体を作製した。カバーフィルム及び対象フィルムは、以下の通りである。
(1) カバーフィルム:100μm厚の屈曲試験でR=3.0mmにてクラックの発生しないアクリル樹脂フィルム
(2) 対象フィルム:30μm厚のポリイミド樹脂フィルム
なお、対象フィルムは、カバーフィルムの貼付対象である画像表示装置を想定したものである。
(測定条件)
測定モード:せん断モード
歪み:0.1%
測定周波数:1Hz
測定温度:−60〜25℃(昇温5℃/min)
測定サンプル:各粘着シートの粘着層を重ねあわせ、総厚約1mmにして測定した。
(1)R=2.5mm、屈曲回数10万回以上でクラックが生じなかった(R=2.5mm クラック無し)、
(2)R=2.5mm、屈曲回数10万回未満でクラックが生じたが、R=3.0mm、屈曲回数10万回以上でクラックが生じなかった(R=3.0mm クラック無し)、
(3)R=3.0mm、屈曲回数10万回未満でクラックが生じた(R=3.0mm クラック発生)
