Description
Claims (10)
- 液体を吐出する吐出部を駆動するための駆動信号を生成する駆動回路であって、
前記駆動信号の波形を規定する信号をパルス変調して変調信号を生成する変調部と、
前記変調信号を増幅して増幅信号を生成する増幅部と、
前記増幅信号を平滑化して前記駆動信号を生成する平滑部と、
を備え、
前記増幅部は、
接地電圧より高い電圧が供給される電圧線と、前記接地電圧が供給される接地線との間に、直列に接続される第1トランジスターおよび第2トランジスターと、
ドレイン電極が前記第2トランジスターのゲート電極に接続され、ソース電極が前記接地線に接続される第3トランジスターと、
を有し、
前記第1トランジスターおよび前記第2トランジスターは、前記変調信号に応じて、排他的にオン状態に設定され、前記第1トランジスターと前記第2トランジスターとを接続する接続ノードから、前記増幅信号を出力する、
ことを特徴とする駆動回路。 - 前記第3トランジスターの閾値電圧は、前記第2トランジスターの閾値電圧以下である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の駆動回路。 - 前記第3トランジスターの入力容量は、前記第2トランジスターの入力容量以下である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の駆動回路。 - 前記第3トランジスターのゲート電荷量は、前記第2トランジスターのゲート電荷量以下である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の駆動回路。 - 前記第3トランジスターのゲート電極は、前記接地線に抵抗素子を介して接続されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の駆動回路。 - 前記変調部は、前記変調信号に基づく信号を前記第2トランジスターのゲート電極に出力する第4トランジスターを含み、
前記抵抗素子の抵抗値は、前記第4トランジスターのオン抵抗の値以上である、
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の駆動回路。 - 前記第3トランジスターのゲート電極は、前記接地線に容量素子を介して接続されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の駆動回路。 - 前記第2トランジスターおよび前記第3トランジスターは、同じ半導体基板に形成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の駆動回路。 - 前記請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の駆動回路と、
前記駆動信号により駆動されることにより、液体を吐出する吐出部と、
を備えることを特徴とする液体吐出装置。 - 接地電圧より高い電圧が供給される電圧線と、前記接地電圧が供給される接地線との間に、直列に接続される第1トランジスターおよび第2トランジスターと、
ドレイン電極が前記第2トランジスターのゲート電極に接続され、ソース電極が前記接地線に接続される第3トランジスターと、
を備え、
前記第1トランジスターおよび前記第2トランジスターは、入力信号に応じて、排他的にオン状態に設定され、前記第1トランジスターと前記第2トランジスターとを接続する接続ノードから、出力信号を出力する、
ことを特徴とする駆動回路。
