Abstract
Description
このように構成された本発明によれば、キャパシタに蓄積可能な電荷がバッテリに蓄積可能な電荷よりも少ないので、キャパシタに蓄積された電荷を短時間でバッテリに放電することができる。また、バッテリに蓄積可能な電荷が多いため、キャパシタから放電された電荷が充電された場合でも、バッテリの端子間電圧は殆ど上昇することがなく、バッテリ及びキャパシタを確実に低電圧にすることができる。
図1は、本発明の第1実施形態による車両電源システムを搭載した車両のレイアウト図である。
図5は、本実施形態の車両電源システム10の回路を示す図である。図6は、本実施形態の車両電源システム10による外部電源からの充電時における作用を示すタイムチャートである。図7は、本実施形態の車両電源システム10による外部電源からの充電時における回路の状態を示す図である。図8は、本実施形態の車両電源システム10によるキャパシタの充電時における作用を示すタイムチャートである。図9は、本実施形態の車両電源システム10によるキャパシタの充電時における回路の状態を示す図である。図10は、本実施形態の車両電源システム10において、衝突時にキャパシタの電荷をバッテリに充電する作用を示すタイムチャートである。図11は、本実施形態の車両電源システム10において、衝突時にキャパシタの電荷をバッテリに充電する際の回路の状態を示す図である。
図12は、キャパシタ22の電荷を放電する際の充電コントローラ19aによる制御を示すフローチャートである。図12に示すフローチャートによる処理は、車両電源システム10の作動中、充電コントローラ19aにより所定の時間間隔で繰り返し実行される。
上述した第1実施形態においては、車両1の衝突時における感電保護を目的として、キャパシタ22の端子間電圧Vcapを低下させていた。これに対し、本実施形態においては、メンテナンスにおけるキャパシタ22の交換作業時の感電保護を目的として、キャパシタ22の端子間電圧Vcapが低下される。従って、ここでは本実施形態の、第1実施形態とは異なる点のみを説明し、同様の構成、作用、効果については説明を省略する。なお、本発明の車両電源システムは、第1実施形態における衝突時の感電保護機能、及び本実施形態におけるキャパシタ交換時の感電保護機能の両方を備えていても良い。

Claims (5)
- 車両に搭載される車両電源システムであって、
定格電圧が所定の電圧よりも低いバッテリと、
定格電圧が上記所定の電圧よりも高いキャパシタと、
このキャパシタに蓄積された電荷を放電するためのキャパシタ放電器と、
このキャパシタ放電器を制御する制御器と、
を有し、
上記制御器は、上記車両の衝突時、又は上記キャパシタの交換時において、上記キャパシタに蓄積された電荷を放電させ、放電された電荷が上記バッテリに充電されるように上記キャパシタ放電器を制御することを特徴とする車両電源システム。 - 上記キャパシタ放電器はDC−DCコンバータを備え、上記制御器は、上記車両の衝突時、又は上記キャパシタの交換時において、上記キャパシタから放電された電荷が上記DC−DCコンバータにより降圧され、上記バッテリに充電されるように上記キャパシタ放電器を制御する請求項1記載の車両電源システム。
- 上記キャパシタは、蓄積可能な電荷が、上記バッテリに蓄積可能な電荷よりも少なく構成されている請求項1又は2に記載の車両電源システム。
- 上記制御器は、上記車両の衝突発生から、又は上記バッテリの交換可能性を表す信号の受信時から、所定時間以内に上記キャパシタの電圧が上記所定の電圧以下に低下するように上記キャパシタ放電器を制御する請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載の車両電源システム。
- 上記制御器は、上記キャパシタの電圧が上記所定の電圧以下に低下すると、上記バッテリと上記キャパシタの電気的接続が遮断されるように上記キャパシタ放電器を制御する請求項4記載の車両電源システム。
