Description
車両用電源装置10が備える電源回路30について説明する。図2は電源回路30の一例を示す回路図である。図2に示すように、電源回路30は、スタータジェネレータ16に電気的に接続されるリチウムイオンバッテリ(第1蓄電体)31と、これと並列にスタータジェネレータ16に電気的に接続される鉛バッテリ(第2蓄電体)32と、を備えている。なお、リチウムイオンバッテリ31を積極的に放電させるため、リチウムイオンバッテリ31の端子電圧は、鉛バッテリ32の端子電圧よりも高く設計されている。また、リチウムイオンバッテリ31を積極的に充放電させるため、リチウムイオンバッテリ31の内部抵抗は、鉛バッテリ32の内部抵抗よりも小さく設計されている。
リチウムイオンバッテリ31の充放電制御について説明する。リチウムイオンバッテリ31の充放電を制御するため、車両用電源装置10にはコンピュータ等からなるメインコントローラ60が設けられている。メインコントローラ60や前述した各コントローラ23,42は、CANやLIN等の車載ネットワーク61を介して互いに通信自在に接続されている。メインコントローラ60は、リチウムイオンバッテリ31の充電状態SOCに基づいて、スタータジェネレータ16を発電状態または発電休止状態に制御することにより、リチウムイオンバッテリ31の充放電を制御する。なお、充電状態SOC(state of charge)とは、バッテリの設計容量に対する蓄電量の比率である。この充電状態SOCは、バッテリコントローラ42からメインコントローラ60に送信される。
メインコントローラ60によって実行されるスイッチSW2の開閉制御について説明する。図5はスイッチ開閉制御の実行手順の一例を示すフローチャートである。図6(a)および(b)は、スイッチ開閉制御の実行過程における電力供給状況を示す図である。図5および図6には、スイッチSW2の導通状態がONで示されており、スイッチSW2の遮断状態がOFFで示されている。図5および図6には、スタータジェネレータ16がISGとして記載している。なお、スイッチ制御部であるメインコントローラ60には、図1に示すように、車載ネットワーク61を介して、バッテリコントローラ42、バッテリセンサ55、横滑り防止装置51、電動パワーステアリング装置52およびヘッドライト53が通信自在に接続されている。

Claims (3)
- 車両に搭載される車両用電源装置であって、
エンジンに連結される発電電動機、および前記発電電動機に接続される第1蓄電体、を備える第1電源回路と、
前記第1蓄電体に並列接続される第2蓄電体、および前記第2蓄電体に接続される電気負荷群、を備える第2電源回路と、
前記第1電源回路と前記第2電源回路とを互いに接続する導通状態と、前記第1電源回路と前記第2電源回路とを互いに切り離す遮断状態と、に切り替えられる通電スイッチと、
前記発電電動機が力行状態に制御される場合に、前記通電スイッチを導通状態から遮断状態に切り替えるスイッチ制御部と、
を有し、
前記スイッチ制御部は、前記通電スイッチが遮断状態に切り替えられた状態のもとで、前記第2蓄電体が閾値を上回って放電する場合に、前記通電スイッチを遮断状態から導通状態に切り替え、
前記第2蓄電体が接続される前記電気負荷群に対し、導通状態に切り替えられた前記通電スイッチを介して、前記第2蓄電体よりも内部抵抗の小さな前記第1蓄電体を接続する、
車両用電源装置。 - 請求項1記載の車両用電源装置において、
前記第2蓄電体が閾値を上回って放電する場合とは、前記第2蓄電体の放電電流が電流閾値を上回る場合と、前記第2蓄電体の端子電圧が電圧閾値を下回る場合と、の少なくとも何れか一方である、
車両用電源装置。 - 請求項1または2記載の車両用電源装置において、
前記第2蓄電体に接続される前記電気負荷群のうち、消費電力が電力閾値を上回る大容量負荷を有し、
前記スイッチ制御部は、前記通電スイッチが遮断状態に切り替えられた状態のもとで、前記大容量負荷が作動する場合に、前記通電スイッチを遮断状態から導通状態に切り替える、
