Claims (6)
- 内燃機関の吸気装置であって、
内部にダストサイド室、クリーンサイド室、及び少なくとも1つの消音室を有するケースと、
前記ダストサイド室と前記クリーンサイド室との連通部に設けられたフィルタエレメントとを有し、
前記消音室の1つである第1消音室は、前記ダストサイド室及び前記クリーンサイド室の一方と前記ケースの外縁との間に形成され、かつ前記第1消音室は前記ケースの外縁に沿って延びる第1連通路を介して前記ダストサイド室及び前記クリーンサイド室の他方と接続されていることを特徴とする内燃機関の吸気装置。 - 前記第1消音室は、前記ケースの第1方向における一側の外縁に沿って設けられ、
前記ダストサイド室及び前記クリーンサイド室の前記他方は、前記ケースの前記第1方向における他側の外縁に沿って設けられ、
前記第1連通路は、前記第1方向に延びていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の吸気装置。 - 前記消音室の1つである第2消音室は、前記ケースの外縁との間に前記第1連通路を形成するように前記第1連通路の隣に設けられ、第2連通路を介して前記ダストサイド室及び前記クリーンサイド室の前記一方と接続されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内燃機関の吸気装置。
- 前記フィルタエレメントは、平板状に形成され、面に直交する方向に空気の透過を許容し、
前記第1方向は、前記フィルタエレメントの面と平行をなすことを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載の内燃機関の吸気装置。 - 前記フィルタエレメントと平行であり、かつ前記第1方向と直交する第2方向とすると、
前記ケースの前記第2方向における一側の外縁に前記第1連通路が設けられ、
前記ケースの前記第2方向における他側の外縁に、前記ダストサイド室に連通した吸気入口と、前記クリーンサイド室に連通した吸気出口とが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内燃機関の吸気装置。 - 前記フィルタエレメントに沿う仮想面は、前記第1消音室及び前記クリーンサイド室を通過することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内燃機関の吸気装置。
