Abstract
Description
図1には、本実施形態のタイヤ1のトレッド部2の展開図が示されている。本実施形態のタイヤは、例えば、空気入りタイヤとして構成される。本実施形態では、好ましい態様として、乗用車に装着が意図されたサマータイヤが示されている。
装着リム:16×7.0J
タイヤ内圧:250KPa
テスト車両:排気量2500cc、前輪駆動車
タイヤ装着位置:全輪
上記テスト車両でドライ状態の舗装路を走行したときの操縦安定性が、運転者の官能により評価された。結果は、比較例を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、操縦安定性が優れていることを示す。
上記テスト車両でドライ路面を40〜100km/hで走行し、このときのピッチ音に起因するノイズの最大の音圧が測定された。結果は、比較例の前記音圧を100とする指数であり、数値が小さい程、ノイズが小さく、優れたノイズ性能を発揮していることを示す。
テストの結果が表1に示される。

Claims (11)
- トレッド部を有するタイヤであって、
前記トレッド部は、第1トレッド端の側でタイヤ周方向に連続して延びる第1ショルダー主溝と、前記第1ショルダー主溝と前記第1トレッド端との間に区分された第1ショルダー陸部と含み、
前記第1ショルダー陸部には、
少なくとも前記第1トレッド端から前記第1ショルダー主溝側に延びかつ前記第1ショルダー陸部内で途切れるショルダー横溝と、
前記ショルダー横溝の途切れ端から前記第1ショルダー主溝まで延びる第1サイプと、
少なくとも前記第1トレッド端から前記第1ショルダー主溝側に延びかつ前記第1ショルダー陸部内で途切れる第2サイプとが設けられ、
前記ショルダー横溝のタイヤ軸方向の長さは、前記第1ショルダー陸部のタイヤ軸方向の幅の0.10〜0.30倍である、
タイヤ。 - 前記ショルダー横溝のタイヤ軸方向の長さは、前記第1ショルダー陸部のタイヤ軸方向の幅の0.15〜0.25倍である、請求項1記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第2サイプは、前記第1ショルダー陸部のタイヤ軸方向の中心位置に達する、請求項1又は2記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第2サイプの最大の深さは、前記第1サイプの最大の深さよりも大きい、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第1ショルダー陸部には、前記第1トレッド端のタイヤ軸方向外側でタイヤ周方向に延びる縦細溝が設けられている、請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第2サイプのタイヤ軸方向の外端は、前記縦細溝に連通している、請求項5記載のタイヤ。
- 車両への装着の向きが指定されており、前記第1トレッド端が車両装着時に車両内側に位置する、請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記トレッド部は、前記第1ショルダー主溝を介して前記第1ショルダー陸部と隣り合う第1ミドル陸部を含み、
前記第1ミドル陸部には、タイヤ軸方向に延びる複数のミドルサイプが設けられている、請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。 - 前記第1サイプ及び前記第2サイプのそれぞれは、前記第1ショルダー陸部に複数設けられ、
前記第1ミドル陸部に設けられた前記ミドルサイプの合計本数は、前記第1ショルダー陸部に設けられた前記第1サイプと前記第2サイプとの合計本数よりも少ない、請求項8記載のタイヤ。 - 前記第1ミドル陸部には、前記第1ショルダー主溝から延び前記第1ミドル陸部内で途切れるミドル横溝が設けられ、
前記ミドルサイプは、前記ミドル横溝の途切れ端に連なる第1ミドルサイプを含む、請求項8又は9記載のタイヤ。 - 前記第1ショルダー陸部の踏面には、前記ショルダー横溝以外に溝幅が2mm以上の溝が設けられていない、請求項1ないし10のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
