Claims (7)
- 金属板製の複数の端子と、該複数の端子を配列保持するハウジングとを有する電気コネクタであって、
上記端子は、上記ハウジングに保持される被保持部と、該被保持部から相手接続体との接続方向に延び該相手接続体との接触のための接触部が形成された接触腕部とを有し、
上記複数の端子は、上記被保持部の板面同士が対面するように配列されており、
上記ハウジングは、上記被保持部を収容するとともに該被保持部の側縁を圧入保持する孔状の端子保持部を、上記接続方向に貫通する孔部として有しており、
該端子保持部は、上記端子の配列方向での幅寸法が上記被保持部の板厚寸法よりも大きく形成されている電気コネクタにおいて、
上記端子は、上記端子保持部内にて、上記被保持部の一方の板面よりも、該一方の板面に対面する上記端子保持部の一方の内壁面側に位置して該一方の内壁面に当接可能な第一当接部と、上記被保持部の他方の板面よりも、該他方の板面に対面する上記端子保持部の他方の内壁面側に位置して該他方の内壁面に当接可能な第二当接部とを有していることを特徴とする電気コネクタ。 - 上記第一当接部及び上記第二当接部のうちの少なくとも一方は、上記被保持部の板面から突出する突部として形成されていることとする請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 上記第一当接部及び上記第二当接部のうちの少なくとも一方は、上記被保持部の上記側縁から折り返されて延びる舌片として形成されていることとする請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 上記第一当接部は、上記被保持部の板面から突出する突部として形成されており、上記第二当接部は、上記被保持部の上記側縁から折り返されて延びる舌片として形成されていることとする請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 上記第一当接部は、上記接続方向での複数箇所に形成されており、上記第二当接部は、上記接続方向で互いに隣接する上記第一当接部の間に形成されていることとする請求項4に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 上記第二当接部は、上記接続方向での複数箇所に形成されており、上記第一当接部は、上記接続方向で互いに隣接する上記第二当接部の間に形成されていることとする請求項5に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 上記端子が二列に配列されており、一方の列の端子と他方の列の端子とは、端子の配列方向にて、第一当接部同士が上記被保持部に対して反対側に位置しているとともに、第二当接部同士が上記被保持部に対して反対側に位置していることとする請求項4ないし請求項6のいずれかに記載の電気コネクタ。
