Abstract
Description
スルホ基が導入された炭の試作例:
木粉を105±5℃に保った乾燥機内で8時間乾燥後、4.7〜83meshの篩(粒径180〜4000μmに相当)により篩別し、篩別した木粉20gを取り分けた。この木粉20gに1Nの塩酸に溶解した濃度65%(w/w)の塩化亜鉛溶液108gを加えて混合し、この混合物をるつぼに入れて電気炉内に置いた。350℃まで60分間かけて昇温し、その後350℃を60分間維持し焼成した(予備炭化)。冷却後、電気炉からるつぼを取り出して炭化物を濾布の付いた洗浄層に移した。ここに、20%に希釈した塩酸200mLを添加し、1時間煮沸しながら洗浄した。炭化物の水切りをした後、50〜60℃の水で水洗した。水洗後の炭化物を105±5℃に保った乾燥機内で8時間乾燥し、10〜22meshの篩により篩別し、予備炭化物を得た。予備炭化物10gを300mLの15%発煙硫酸に加えて80℃で10時間加熱しスルホ基を導入した。その後、過剰な濃硫酸を100℃の蒸留水で繰り返し洗浄し、洗浄後の蒸留水中の硫酸が元素分析の検出限界以下になるまで洗浄を繰り返した。水洗後、105±5℃に保った乾燥機内で8時間乾燥してスルホ基の導入された炭を得た。
消臭シートの作成:
下記の表1に示す組成で消臭シートを作成した。炭系吸着剤を100mLのイオン交換水に分散し、これに粉砕したパルプ1g(繊維径が10μm〜30μmのパルプ繊維を30質量%以上含むようにしたもの)を加えて分散させた。これを10分間撹拌後、150×100mm長方形の1.5mmメッシュを用い、ろ過物がメッシュ上に均一に広がるようにろ過し、脱水した。このろ過物を130℃に熱したアイロンを用いて最終乾燥させ150×100mmの紙を、秤量がおおよそ100g/m2になるよう調製した。こうして作成した各組成の消臭シートについて以下の消臭試験を行った。結果を表1に併せて示す。
各消臭シートと電池式ファンを10Lのテドラーバックに入れて密封し、10Lの空気を入れた。これに悪臭成分としてアンモニアまたは硫化水素を注入し、2時間後の悪臭成分の濃度を検知管で測定、試験前後の悪臭成分の濃度から消臭率を算出した。
生ごみの消臭:
実施例1で製造した本発明品1の消臭シート片(10cm×60cm)で、生ごみを包んだところ、生ごみの臭いは軽減され、気にならなくなった。
靴の消臭:
実施例1で製造した本発明品1の消臭シート片(10cm×60cm)2枚を、履いた後の靴の中に、それぞれ丸めて入れたところ、靴の臭いは軽減され、気にならなくなった。
Claims (10)
- パルプと炭系吸着剤とを含有する消臭シートであって、前記炭系吸着剤が、スルホ基が導入された炭を含有することを特徴とする消臭シート。
- 前記炭系吸着剤中の前記スルホ基が導入された炭の含有量が10〜100質量%である請求項1記載の消臭シート。
- 前記炭系吸着剤が、さらに活性炭を含有する請求項1または2記載の消臭シート。
- 前記スルホ基が導入された炭と前記活性炭の含有質量比が2:1〜1:2である請求項1〜3のいずれかの項記載の消臭シート。
- 前記炭系吸着剤は、平均粒径が5〜500μmである請求項1〜4のいずれかの項記載の消臭シート。
- 前記炭系吸着剤を前記消臭シートの全質量に対して5〜50質量%含有する請求項1〜5のいずれかの項記載の消臭シート。
- 前記パルプは、繊維径が10μm〜30μmのパルプ繊維をパルプの全質量に対して30質量%以上含むものである請求項1〜6のいずれかの項記載の消臭シート。
- 坪量が10〜150g/m2である請求項1〜7のいずれかの項記載の消臭シート。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の消臭シートで、生ごみ又は排泄物を包むことによる生ごみ又は排泄物の消臭方法。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の消臭シートを靴の中に入れることによる靴の消臭方法。
