Description
Claims (20)
- ポリマー成分と、
鉛以外の約10〜約40wt%の重金属と、
を含む放射線遮蔽材料であって、前記放射線遮蔽材料は、光学的に透明である、放射線遮蔽材料。 - 前記重金属が、ビスマス、ヨウ素、バリウム、スズ、タンタル、セシウム、アンチモン、金、タングステン、又はそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の放射線遮蔽材料。
- 前記重金属が、ビスマスを含む、請求項1に記載の放射線遮蔽材料。
- 前記ビスマスが、前記ポリマー成分に化学的に結合されている、請求項3に記載の放射線遮蔽材料。
- 前記ビスマスが、前記ポリマー成分中に、それに化学的に結合されることなく埋め込まれている、請求項3に記載の放射線遮蔽材料。
- 前記ビスマスが、透明なナノ粒子又は透明に被覆されたナノ粒子である、請求項3に記載の放射線遮蔽材料。
- 前記材料が、少なくとも約85%の透過率及び約5%未満の曇り度を有する、請求項1に記載の放射線遮蔽材料。
- 鉛を含まない重金属を含有するモノマーを作製することと、
コモノマー、架橋剤及び開始剤を前記重金属含有モノマーと混合することにより前記重金属含有モノマーを重合させることと
を含む、放射線遮蔽材料の作製方法。 - 前記重金属が、ビスマス、ヨウ素、バリウム、スズ、タンタル、セシウム、アンチモン、金、タングステン、又はそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記重金属が、ビスマスを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記開始剤が、AIBN、イソニトリル、ヒドロペルオキシド、カルバメート、ペルオキシ酸、ペルオキシエステル、又はそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記架橋剤は、ポリ(エチレングリコール)ジメタクリレート、テトラ(エチレングリコール)ジメタクリレート、ジビニルベンゼン、又はそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 重金属源を提供すること(前記重金属は鉛を含まない)と、
前記重金属源をビニルモノマー混合物、架橋剤及び開始剤に溶解させることと、
前記混合物を重合させることと
を含む、放射線遮蔽材料の作製方法。 - 前記重金属が、ビスマス、ヨウ素、バリウム、スズ、タンタル、セシウム、アンチモン、金、タングステン、又はそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記重金属が、ビスマスを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記ビスマス源が、トリフェニルビスマス又はビスマス含有カルボキシレートを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- ビニル官能基化末端を有するシロキサンスターグラフトポリマーを提供することと、
透明な重金属若しくは重金属酸化物ナノ粒子又は透明に被覆された重金属若しくは重金属酸化物ナノ粒子を、前記スターグラフトポリマー、ビニルモノマー混合物及び開始剤と、前記重金属又は重金属酸化物ナノ粒子が前記シロキサンスターグラフトポリマーで被覆され、前記ビニルモノマー混合物に懸濁されるように混合すること(前記重金属は鉛を含まない)と、
前記混合物を重合させることと
を含む、放射線遮蔽材料の作製方法。 - ビニルモノマーが、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、メタクリル酸メチル、メタクリル酸エチル、メタクリル酸ブチル、メタクリル酸フェニル、アクリル酸メチル、アクリル酸ブチル、アクリル酸フェニル、アクリロニトリル、アクリルアミド、メタクリルアミド、N,N−ジメチルアクリルアミド、スチレン、メチルスチレン、それらのホモポリマー、それらのコポリマー、それらのイオノマー、又はそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記透明な重金属又は重金属酸化物ナノ粒子が、ZrO、WO3、又はそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記透明に被覆された重金属又は重金属酸化物ナノ粒子が、ZnO被覆BiOを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
