Abstract
Description
本発明の目的は、良好な流動性と機械物性ならびに優れた難燃性が得られ、かつパーティクルの発生が抑制された液晶ポリエステル樹脂組成物、および該液晶ポリエステル樹脂組成物から構成される成形品を提供することにある。
式(I)〜(III)
Ar1およびAr2は、それぞれ1種または2種以上の2価の芳香族基を表し、p、qおよびrは、それぞれ、液晶ポリエステル(A)中での各繰返し単位の組成比(モル%)であり、以下の条件を満たす:
35≦p≦90、
5≦q≦30、および
5≦r≦30]
で表される繰返し単位を含む液晶ポリエステル(A)と、
式(IV)および式(V)
sおよびtはそれぞれ、液晶ポリエステル(B)中での各繰返し単位の組成比(モル%)であり、以下の条件を満たす:
80/20≦s/t≦60/40]
で表される繰返し単位を含む液晶ポリエステル(B)と、
繊維状酸化チタン(C)と
を含有する液晶ポリエステル樹脂組成物であって、
(A)と(B)の質量比[A/B]が90/10〜45/55であり、
(A)と(B)の合計量100質量部に対して、(C)の含有量が1〜150質量部である、液晶ポリエステル樹脂組成物に関する。
本発明において、液晶ポリエステル(A)は、式(I)〜(III)で表される繰返し単位を含む。

5≦r≦30。]
本発明において、液晶ポリエステル(B)としては、式(IV)および式(V)
sおよびtはそれぞれ、液晶ポリエステル(B)中での各繰返し単位の組成比(モル%)であり、以下の条件を満たす;
80/20≦s/t≦60/40]
で表される繰返し単位を含むものが使用される。
示差走査熱量計としてセイコーインスツルメンツ株式会社製Exstar6000を用いて、試料を室温から20℃/分の昇温条件で測定した際に観測される吸熱ピーク温度(Tm1)を測定した後、Tm1より50℃高い温度で10分間保持した。次いで、20℃/分の降温条件で室温まで試料を冷却し、さらに再度20℃/分の昇温条件で測定した際の吸熱ピークを観測し、そのピークトップを示す温度を結晶融解温度(Tm)とした。
溶融粘度測定装置(東洋精機(株)製キャピログラフ1D)により、1.0mmφ×10mmのキャピラリーを用いて、剪断速度1000sec−1の条件下、試料の結晶融解温度(Tm)+20℃での溶融粘度をそれぞれ測定した。
射出成形機(日精樹脂工業(株)製UH1000−110)を用いて、短冊状試験片(長さ127mm×幅12.7mm×厚さ3.2mm)を成形し、これを用いてASTM D648に準拠し、荷重1.82MPa、昇温速度2℃/分で所定たわみ量(0.254mm)になる温度を測定した。
荷重たわみ温度の測定に用いた試験片と同じ試験片を用いてASTM D790に準拠して測定した。
樹脂組成物のペレットを、射出成形機(日精樹脂工業株式会社製PS40)を用いて、長さ170mm、幅12.7mm、厚さ0.8mmのバーフロー形状試験片に成形し、23℃、相対湿度50%の条件で48時間静置した後、UL−94規格に準拠して評価した。
樹脂組成物のペレットを型締め圧15tの射出成形機(住友重機械工業株式会社製 MINIMAT M26/15)を用いて、結晶融解温度(Tm)よりも20℃高いシリンダー温度、金型温度70℃で、長さ64mm、幅12.7mm、厚み2mmの短冊状曲げ試験片を作製し、パーティクル数測定の試験片とした。
純水50mLを備えた外径50mm、内径45mm、高さ100mmの円筒ガラス容器に、図1の通り各試験片1個をゲート部が水に浸からないように載置した後、円筒ガラス容器を、水1000mLを備えた縦140mm、横240mm、深さ100mの超音波洗浄槽に設置した。
38kHz、100Wの出力で10分間超音波洗浄を行った後、純水1mL中に含まれる最大径2μm以上の脱落物(パーティクル)の個数を、パーティクルカウンター(スペクトリス社製LiQuilaz−05)を使用して3回測定し、平均値を測定結果とした。
POB:パラヒドロキシ安息香酸
BON6:6−ヒドロキシ−2−ナフトエ酸
BP:4,4’−ジヒドロキシビフェニル
HQ:ハイドロキノン
TPA:テレフタル酸
NDA:2,6−ナフタレンジカルボン酸
トルクメーター付き攪拌装置および留出管を備えた反応容器に、BON6:660.5g(54.0モル%)、BP:254.2g(21.0モル%)、HQ:14.3g(2.0モル%)およびTPA:248.3g(23.0モル%)を仕込み、さらに全モノマーの水酸基量(モル)に対して1.03倍モルの無水酢酸を仕込み、次の条件で脱酢酸重合を行った。
トルクメーター付き攪拌装置および留出管を備えた反応容器に、POB:655.4g(73モル%)およびBON6:330.2g(27モル%)を仕込み、さらに全モノマーの水酸基量(モル)に対して1.02倍モルの無水酢酸を仕込み、次の条件で脱酢酸重合を行った。
トルクメーター付き攪拌装置および留出管を備えた反応容器に、POB:641.9g(71.5モル%)、BON6:30.6g(2.5モル%)、HQ:93.0g(13モル%)およびNDA:182.7g(13モル%)を仕込み、さらに全モノマーの水酸基量(モル)に対して1.03倍モルの無水酢酸を仕込み、次の条件で脱酢酸重合を行った。
繊維状酸化チタン(A−1):石原産業(株)社製、針状酸化チタン「FTL−400」(数平均繊維長(L)=10.1μm、数平均繊維径(D)=0.5μm、L/D=20)
繊維状酸化チタン(A−2):石原産業(株)社製、棒状酸化チタン「PFR404」(数平均繊維長(L)=2.91μm、数平均繊維径(D)=0.4μm、L/D=7)
ガラス繊維:CPIC社製、ECS3010A(平均繊維長10.5μm)
タルク:富士タルク(株)社製、「DS−34」(数平均粒径23μm)
液晶ポリエステル(A)であるLCP−1を70質量部、液晶ポリエステル(B)であるLCP−2を30質量部、および繊維状酸化チタン(A−1)を5.4質量部の割合で配合し、2軸押出機(日本製鋼(株)製TEX−30)を用いて、350℃にて溶融混練を行い、液晶ポリエステル樹脂組成物のペレットを得た。上記の方法により、溶融粘度、荷重たわみ温度、曲げ強度、曲げ弾性率、難燃性およびパーティクル発生数について測定・評価した。結果を表1に示す。
LCP−1〜3、繊維状酸化チタン(A−1、A−2)、ガラス繊維およびタルクについて、表1に記載の含有量となるように配合し、実施例1と同様にしてペレットを得て、上記の方法により測定・評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。

Claims (4)
- 式(I)〜(III)
Ar1およびAr2は、それぞれ1種または2種以上の2価の芳香族基を表し、p、qおよびrは、それぞれ、液晶ポリエステル(A)中での各繰返し単位の組成比(モル%)であり、以下の条件を満たす:
35≦p≦90、
5≦q≦30、および
5≦r≦30]
で表される繰返し単位を含む液晶ポリエステル(A)と、
式(IV)および式(V)
sおよびtはそれぞれ、液晶ポリエステル(B)中での各繰返し単位の組成比(モル%)であり、以下の条件を満たす:
80/20≦s/t≦60/40]
で表される繰返し単位を含む液晶ポリエステル(B)と、
繊維状酸化チタン(C)と
を含有する液晶ポリエステル樹脂組成物であって、
(A)と(B)の質量比[A/B]が90/10〜45/55であり、
(A)と(B)の合計量100質量部に対して、(C)の含有量が1〜150質量部である、液晶ポリエステル樹脂組成物。 - 繊維状酸化チタンは、数平均繊維長(L)が1μm〜50μmであり、数平均繊維径(D)が0.05μm〜2.0μmであり、かつL/Dが3〜50である、請求項1に記載の液晶ポリエステル樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1または2に記載の液晶ポリエステル樹脂組成物から構成される成形品。
- 成形品は、コネクタ、スイッチ、リレー、コンデンサ、コイル、トランス、カメラモジュール、アンテナチップアンテナおよびミニブレーカからなる群から選択される1種を構成する部品である、請求項3に記載の成形品。
