Claims (8)
- 先端側から後端側へと軸線方向に延びる筒状の絶縁体と、
前記絶縁体の外周に固定され自身の外周面の一部におねじが形成された筒状の主体金具と、を備えるスパークプラグであって、
前記絶縁体は、自身の外周面のうち、前記主体金具の前記おねじと前記軸線方向に重なる部分に溝部が形成され、
前記溝部に装着される伝熱部材は、前記主体金具の内周面に接触し、且つ、自身の一部が前記絶縁体の前記溝部の中に配置されるスパークプラグ。 - 前記溝部は、前記軸線方向に距離をあけて複数形成され、
前記伝熱部材は、前記溝部の各々に配置される請求項1記載のスパークプラグ。 - 前記主体金具は、自身の前記内周面の一部に、先端側へ向かうにつれて前記軸線との距離が短くなる傾斜部を備え、
前記傾斜部は、前記絶縁体のうち前記溝部が形成された部分に向き合い、
前記溝部に配置された前記伝熱部材は、前記傾斜部に接触する請求項1又は2に記載のスパークプラグ。 - 前記絶縁体は、前記溝部よりも軸線方向の後端側に位置し、径方向の外側へ張り出した張出部を備え、
前記主体金具は、前記張出部の先端面と対面する後端面を有する棚部を備え、
前記棚部と前記張出部との間に介在し、前記棚部の前記後端面および前記張出部の前記先端面に全周に亘って接触するシール部材を備える請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のスパークプラグ。 - 前記溝部は、前記絶縁体の前記外周面の全周に亘って形成され、
前記伝熱部材は、前記溝部の全周に亘って装着される請求項1から4のいずれかに記載のスパークプラグ。 - 前記伝熱部材は、前記主体金具の前記内周面に全周に亘って接触する請求項5記載のスパークプラグ。
- 前記伝熱部材は、前記溝部の中に配置される部分が、前記絶縁体の前記溝部の後端向き面および先端向き面のいずれか一方の面に接触し他方の面と離間する請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のスパークプラグ。
- 前記伝熱部材は、前記溝部の中に配置される部分が、前記溝部の底面と離間する請求項1から7のいずれかに記載のスパークプラグ。
