Claims (28)
- シルクフィブロイン複合材であって、
複数の互いに結合された層を有し、前記層のうちの少なくとも1つは、少なくとも1つの非シルクポリマーと少なくとも一部が少なくとも1つの生体内の1つまたは2つ以上のスパイダーシルク遺伝子の発現に由来するシルクフィブロイン材料の複合マトリックスを含み、前記複数の互いに結合された層は、
少なくとも1つのバッキングまたは表面層と、
複数のセルを有する少なくとも1つの層とを含み、前記少なくとも1つの層は、前記少なくとも1つのバッキングまたは表面層に結合され、前記複数の互いに結合された層のうちの前記少なくとも1つは、繊維状である材料を含む、複合材。 - 前記シルクフィブロイン材料は、シルク繊維および非繊維形態のシルクポリペプチドのうちの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項1記載の複合材。
- 前記少なくとも1つの非シルクポリマーは、熱可塑性ポリマーおよび熱硬化性ポリマーのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1記載の複合材。
- 前記複数の互いに結合された層は、ポリウレタンポリマー、ポリカーボネートポリマー、ポリプロピレンポリマー、アクリロニトリルブタジエンスチレン(ABS)ポリマー、ポリ乳酸(PLA)ポリマー、ポリアミド(ナイロン)ポリマー、ガラス繊維入りポリアミドポリマー、エポキシ樹脂、銀、金、チタン、鋼、ステンレス鋼、ろう、フォトポリマー、高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)、ポリカーボネート−アクリロニトリルブタジエンスチレン(PC/ABS)ポリマー、およびポリフェニルスルフォン(PPSU)ポリマーのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1記載の複合材。
- 前記少なくとも1つの非シルクポリマーは、1つまたは2つ以上のイソシアネートおよび少なくとも1つのイソシアネート反応性成分のポリウレタン反応生成物から成る、請求項1記載の複合材。
- 前記シルクフィブロイン材料は、前記少なくとも1つのバッキングまたは表面層および前記少なくとも一方の層のうちの少なくとも1つの複合マトリックスの少なくとも一部分をなしている、請求項1記載の複合材。
- 前記シルクフィブロイン材料は、様々な長さの複数の長繊維および種々の長さで構成された複数の短繊維のうちの一方を含み、
前記長繊維は、3mmを超える長さを有し、前記短繊維は、前記複数の長繊維の前記長さのうちの任意のものの最も短い長さよりも短い長さを有する、請求項1記載の複合材。 - 前記長繊維は、前記複数の互いに結合された層の総重量の0.5重量%〜99重量%を占める、請求項7記載の複合材。
- 前記シルクフィブロイン材料は、エレクトロスパン(electro-spun)シルクから成る、請求項1記載の複合材。
- 前記シルクフィブロイン材料は、シルクウィーブまたは布地、シルク繊維、シルクマットを含む、請求項1記載の複合材。
- 前記複数のセルは、ハニカム状構造体を構成する、請求項1記載の複合材。
- 前記複合マトリックスの少なくとも一部分は、射出成形、反応射出成形、チョップド繊維射出、押し出し、成形、フィルム流延、ウェブ被覆、溶射被覆、製織、真空注入、または3D印刷によって得られる、請求項1記載の複合材。
- 前記複数の互いに結合された層の少なくとも一部分は、シルク繊維、シルクウィーブまたは布地、およびシルクマットのうちの少なくとも1つを含む繊維状材料から成る、請求項1記載の複合材。
- 前記複数の互いに結合された層は、陸上車両フレーム、飛行体フレーム、船舶フレーム、陸上車両パネル、飛行体パネル、および船舶パネルから選択された製造品である、請求項1記載の複合材。
- 前記製造品は、耐力構造体、非耐力構造体、および装飾または美的構造体のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項13記載の複合材。
- シルクフィブロイン複合材を製作する方法であって、
少なくとも1つの非シルクポリマーおよび少なくとも一部が少なくとも生体中の1つまたは2つ以上のスパイダーシルク遺伝子の発現に由来するシルクフィブロイン材料を用意するステップと、
前記シルクフィブロイン材料の少なくとも一部分と前記少なくとも1つの非シルクポリマー材料を組み合わせて混合物を形成するステップと、
射出成形、反応射出成形、チョップド繊維射出、押し出し、成形、フィルム流延、ウェブ被覆、溶射被覆、製織、真空注入、および3D印刷というプロセスを用いて前記混合物の少なくとも一部分から複合マトリックスを形成するステップと、
前記複合マトリックスの少なくとも一部分を用いて複数の互いに結合された層を形成するステップとを含み、前記複数の層は、
少なくとも1つのバッキングまたは表面層および複数のセルを有する少なくとも1つの層を含み、前記少なくとも1つの層は、前記少なくとも1つのバッキングまたは表面層に結合され、
前記複数の互いに結合された層のうちの少なくとも1つは、繊維状である材料を含む、方法。 - 前記シルクフィブロイン材料は、様々な長さの複数の長繊維および種々の長さで構成された複数の短繊維のうちの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項16記載の方法。
- 前記長繊維は、3mmを超える長さを有し、前記短繊維は、前記複数の長繊維の前記長さのうちの任意のものの最も短い長さよりも短い長さを有する、請求項17記載の方法。

シルクフィブロイン材料を押出機中に送り込むステップを含み、前記シルクフィブロイン材料は、少なくとも1つの生体中の1つまたは2つ以上のスパイダーシルク遺伝子の発現に由来し、
シルク繊維前駆物質を前記シルクフィブロイン材料から押し出すステップを含み、
前記シルク繊維前駆物質を凝固浴槽の一端部のところで前記凝固浴槽中に通すステップを含み、
前記凝固浴槽内における凝固によって前記シルク繊維前駆物質からシルク繊維を形成するステップを含み、
少なくとも1つの組をなすゴデットを用いて前記シルク繊維の少なくとも一部分を延伸するステップを含み、
前記シルク繊維の少なくとも一部分と少なくとも1つの非シルクポリマー材料と組み合わせて供給原料を形成するステップを含み、
前記供給原料を用いて射出成形、反応射出成形、チョップド繊維射出、押し出し、成形、フィルム流延、ウェブ被覆、溶射被覆、バッチ混合、製織、真空注入、および3D印刷のうちの少なくとも1つの使用により複合マトリックスを形成するステップを含む、方法。 - 前記複合マトリックスの少なくとも一部分を用いて複数の互いに結合された層を形成するステップを更に含み、前記複数の互いに結合された層は、少なくとも1つのバッキングまたは表面層および複数のセルを有する少なくとも1つの層を含み、前記少なくとも1つの層は、前記少なくとも1つのバッキングまたは表面層に結合されている、請求項22記載の方法。
- 前記複合マトリックスは、様々な長さの複数の長繊維および種々の長さで構成された複数の短繊維のうちの少なくとも一方を含み、

- 前記ハニカム状構造体は、アルミニウムコア、フォームコア、ウッドコア、および炭素繊維コアのうちの少なくとも1つを含む構造用コアを有する、請求項26記載の方法。
- 前記原材料と石けん材料、化粧品材料、またはペイント材料から選択された別の供給材料と混合するステップを更に含む、請求項23記載の方法。
