Claims (15)
- 燃焼機関の排気ガスを排出する排気ガス管と、
洗浄水を供給する洗浄水供給管と、
前記排気ガス管を介して流入する排気ガスに、前記洗浄水供給管を介して供給される洗浄水を噴霧するスクラバーと、
前記スクラバー内部の洗浄水を排出してバラスト水タンクへ供給する洗浄水排出管とを含む、汚染物質低減装置。 - 前記洗浄水供給管の内部を流動する洗浄水のpH値よりも、前記洗浄水排出管の内部を流動する洗浄水のpH値がさらに低い、請求項1に記載の汚染物質低減装置。
- 前記排気ガス管または前記スクラバーに連結され、窒素系酸化物を酸化させるか、或いは酸性化された洗浄水を中和させるか、或いは洗浄水に含まれている微生物を死滅させる浄化ユニットをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の汚染物質低減装置。

- 前記酸化剤は、前記海水を電気分解して生成した次亜塩素酸ナトリウムまたは次亜塩素酸であり、

前記排気ガスに酸化剤を噴射することにより窒素系酸化物を酸化させてスクラバーへ供給する(b)段階と、
前記スクラバーに前記流入した海水の一部を噴射することにより、前記排気ガスに含まれている汚染物質を分離する(c)段階と、
前記分離された汚染物質を用いて、前記流入した海水に含まれている微生物を死滅させる(d)段階とを含む、汚染物質低減方法。
