Claims (13)
- 燃焼機関の排気ガスを排出する排気ガス管と、
洗浄水を供給する洗浄水供給管と、
前記排気ガス管を介して流入する排気ガスに、前記洗浄水供給管を介して供給される洗浄水を噴霧するスクラバーと、
前記スクラバー内部の洗浄水を排出してバラスト水タンクへ供給する洗浄水排出管と、
前記洗浄水排出管と前記洗浄水供給管とを連結する循環管と、
遠心分離機および重力分離機のうちの少なくとも一つを用いて、前記洗浄水排出管を介して排出される洗浄水をフィルタリングするフィルターユニットと、
前記スクラバー、または前記洗浄水排出管と前記バラスト水タンクとの間に備えられ、前記洗浄水排出管を介して排出された洗浄水を前記バラスト水タンクへ移送する混合管の後段に中和剤を供給する中和剤供給部とを含み、
前記洗浄水排出管を介して排出される洗浄水は、前記フィルターユニットによってフィルタリングされた後、前記洗浄水供給管を介して前記スクラバーへ供給され、前記排気ガスに含まれている汚染物質を除去することに再利用される、汚染物質低減装置。 - 前記洗浄水供給管の内部を流動する洗浄水のpH値よりも、前記洗浄水排出管の内部を流動する洗浄水のpH値がさらに低い、請求項1に記載の汚染物質低減装置。

- 前記酸化剤は、前記海水を電気分解して生成した次亜塩素酸ナトリウムまたは次亜塩素酸であり、

前記第1電極の内側または前記第1電極同士の間に離隔して配置され、前記排気ガスの流動方向と垂直方向に配列されたワイヤー形状の第2電極とを含む反応モジュールを含む、請求項11に記載の汚染物質低減装置。 - 燃焼機関の排気ガスの流入を受け、外部から海水の流入を受け、一部はバラスト水タンクへ供給して船舶のバラスト水として使用し、一部はスクラバーへ供給する(a)段階と、
前記排気ガスに酸化剤を噴射することにより窒素系酸化物を酸化させて前記スクラバーへ供給する(b)段階と、
前記スクラバーに前記海水を噴射することにより、前記排気ガスに含まれている汚染物質を除去し、同時に前記海水に含まれている微生物を死滅させる(c)段階と、
前記スクラバーを通過した前記海水に含まれている固体状粒子を分離する(d)段階とを含み、
前記燃焼機関から流入する前記排気ガスおよび外部から流入する前記海水の量を可変させて前記排気ガスと前記海水を選択的に浄化し、
前記(d)段階を経た前記海水は、外部から直接流入した海水と混合され、前記船舶のバラスト水として使用されるか或いは外部へ直接排出されるか、或いは前記スクラバーに再循環される、汚染物質低減方法。
