Abstract

Description
プログラミングインタフェース810により、例えば特定の周波数、持続時間又は活動状態間の時間を有する励起信号を生成するようにプロセッサ804をプログラミングすることができる。例えばプロセッサ804は、約108キロヘルツ(KHz)と183KHzの間の周波数を有する励起信号840を生成するようにプログラミングされてよい。プログラミングインタフェース810は、例えば5ピンインタフェースであってよい。一部の実施形態において、プログラミングインタフェース810は、グラフィカルユーザーインタフェース(図示せず)を通してアクセス可能であってよい。
Claims (22)
- 流体を標的に送出するためのデバイスにおいて、
ハウジングと、
一定体積の流体を収容するためにハウジング内部に配置されているタンクと、
15ミクロン超の平均駆出液滴直径を有する液滴の流れを駆出するように構成されたエジェクタ機構と、を含み、液滴流は、使用中それが標的上に堆積できるように低い同伴空気流量を有する、デバイス。 - 標的が対象の目である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- エジェクタ機構は、駆出された液滴の質量の少なくとも約75%が標的上に堆積できるように液滴流を駆出するような形で構成されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 駆出された液滴の質量の少なくとも約80%が標的上に堆積する、請求項3に記載のデバイス。
- エジェクタ機構が20ミクロン超の平均駆出液滴直径を有する液滴流を駆出するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- エジェクタ機構が、20〜100ミクロンの範囲内の平均駆出液滴直径を有する液滴流を駆出するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- エジェクタ機構が、
タンクの流体送出部域に結合された第1の表面を有し、その厚さを貫通して形成された複数の開口部を含むエジェクタプレートと、
エジェクタプレートの第2の表面上に形成され、一定の周波数でエジェクタプレートを揺動させ指向性液滴流を生成するように操作可能であるアクチュエータと、

を含み、指向性流内の液滴が、20〜100ミクロンの範囲内の平均駆出直径と、2〜5m/sの範囲内の平均駆出速度とを有する、デバイス。 - 対象の眼に一定体積の眼科用流体を送出するための方法において、
エジェクタプレートの開口部から、タンク内に入った眼科用流体の指向性液滴流を駆出するステップであって、指向性流内の液滴が20〜100ミクロンの範囲内の平均駆出直径と0.5m/s〜10m/sの範囲内の平均駆出速度を有するステップ、
を含み、こうして駆出された液滴流の質量の少なくとも85%が、対象の眼の上に堆積するようになっている、方法。 - 少なくとも1つの診断機能を含み、診断機能が、発光体及び検波器を含み、発光体が波動を液滴に向かって誘導し、検出器が、前記液滴から反射又は屈折された光の部分を検出する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
