Description
Claims (5)
- 消色機能を有する消色トナー又は消色機能を有さない非消色トナーで形成されたトナー像を搬送するとともに、搬送された前記トナー像をシート上に転写する転写部と、
前記転写部にバイアス電圧を供給する電圧供給部と、
前記トナー像をシート上に画像形成をする第1の動作モードにおいて、前記転写部にシートを通紙する際に、供給する前記バイアス電圧を転写バイアスとし、前記消色トナーで画像形成されたシート上のトナーを消色する第2の動作モードにおいて、供給する前記バイアス電圧を前記転写バイアスと逆極性のクリーニングバイアスとするように切替える制御をする制御部と
を備える、画像形成装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記第2の動作モードにおいて、
シートが前記転写部に接触するときに、第1の電圧で前記クリーニングバイアスを供給し、
シートが前記転写部に接触しないときに、前記第1の電圧より絶対値の大きい第2の電圧で前記クリーニングバイアスを供給するように切替える制御をする、前記請求項1に記載の画像形成装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記第2の動作モードにおいて、
シートが前記転写部に接触しないときに、前記クリーニングバイアスと同極性のバイアスと前記クリーニングバイアスと逆極性のバイアスとを、前記転写部に交互に供給する交互供給動作を実行する制御をする、請求項1又は2に記載の画像形成装置。 - 消色対象のシートをセット可能な給紙部をさらに備え、
前記制御部は、セットされた前記シートの消色が全て終了した後に、前記交互供給動作を実行する制御をする、請求項3に記載の画像形成装置。 - 前記制御部は、消色されたシートの枚数が予め設定された枚数に達したときに前記交互供給動作を実行する制御をする、請求項3又は4に記載の画像形成装置。
