Abstract
Description
(a) 第1の処理工程において、金属粒子が水性分散剤中に分配されること、および
(b) 続く第2の処理工程において、第1の処理工程(a)で分散された金属粒子が、無機ベースの層、特にコーティングによって被覆されることからなるものである。

本発明によって改質された金属粒子の製造のために、ステアリン酸で被覆された市販の亜鉛フレークが、その後の処理のために脱脂され、次いで乾燥される。
亜鉛フレークの比表面積は1m2/gである。
亜鉛フレークを被覆するために、下記の表1に記載の組成物の分散液を調製する。
その後のガス発生試験のために、本発明によって改質された亜鉛フレークの水素発生を、水性媒体中のステアリン酸で被覆された亜鉛フレークと比較する。この目的のために、40gの水を入れたエルレンマイヤーフラスコ中に約3gの亜鉛フレークを注ぎ、約34℃で混合物を撹拌した。得られたガスを収集し、24時間後に回収量を常にチェックする。
本発明によって改質された亜鉛フレークは、水性コーティング組成物ならびに溶剤ベースのコーティング組成物中で調製される。
分散剤として水を含有する下記の表3に示すコーティング組成物は、一方では本発明により改質された亜鉛フレークで調製され、他方ではステアリン酸でコーティングされた標準亜鉛フレークで調製される。
脱脂された鋼板上に、表4〜表7に記載の溶剤含有コーティング組成物を浸漬塗布し、200℃で30分間オーブンで硬化させる。これにより、10μmの層厚を有するコーティングが得られる。
(a)赤錆に対する耐性:
+++ 塩水噴霧試験で1000時間以上赤錆の兆候は見られず、表面も刻みもない、
++ 基質はリッツ法によってわずかな赤錆形成を示す、
+ リッツ法による顕著な赤錆の形成とその部分での最初の赤錆の形成、
+/− リッツ法による明瞭な赤錆形成および表面でのわずかな赤錆形成、
− 両方の領域でリッツ法によってわずかな赤錆の形成。
(b)白錆に対する耐性:
+++ 中性塩噴霧試験で1000時間以上経過した後、このコーティングは白錆形成の徴候を示さない、
++ 着色した変色によって認識可能なコーティングのわずかな白い錆の形成、
x コーティング中のより強い白錆の形成、
+/− コーティングにおける著しい大規模な白錆の形成、
− 強く一貫した白錆の形成。
Claims (20)
- 特に腐食防止コーティング用の改質金属粒子であって、その表面に無機系改質を有することを特徴とする金属粒子。
- 前記改質が、層、特にコーティングの形態であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属粒子。
- 前記改質が、3〜150nmの範囲内、特に5〜120nmの範囲内、好ましくは8〜100nmの範囲内、より好ましくは10〜80nmの範囲内、特により好ましくは10〜50nmの層厚を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の金属粒子。
- 前記金属粒子が、0.1〜30μmの範囲内、特に0.5〜20μmの範囲内、好ましくは1〜15μmの範囲内の粒径を有すること、かつ/または、前記金属粒子が小板状および/もしくは粒状、特に球状であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の金属粒子。
- 亜鉛、アルミニウム、マグネシウム、ビスマス、スズ、ニッケルおよびマンガン並びにそれらの混合物および合金、好ましくは亜鉛、アルミニウム、マグネシウムおよびこれらの混合物および合金からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の金属を含有することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の金属粒子。
- 前記金属粒子が純粋な亜鉛および/または亜鉛合金をベースとしていること、特に、前記亜鉛合金は、亜鉛ビスマス合金、亜鉛アルミニウム合金および/または亜鉛アルミニウムマグネシウム合金、特に亜鉛アルミニウム合金および/または亜鉛アルミニウムマグネシウム合金、好ましくは亜鉛アルミニウムマグネシウム合金をベースとしていることを特徴とする請求項5記載の金属粒子。
- 前記表面改質は純粋に無機質であること、かつ/または、前記改質は無機酸化物を含むことおよび/または無機酸化物から形成されること、好ましくは無機酸化物から形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載の金属粒子。
- 前記変性は、無機酸化物、特にケイ素、チタンおよび/または亜鉛の酸化物、好ましくは二酸化ケイ素および/または二酸化チタン、好ましくは二酸化ケイ素によって開始されることを特徴とする請求項7記載の金属粒子。
- 防食コーティングおよび防食コーティング組成物の調製のための請求項1〜8のいずれか1つに記載の金属粒子の使用。
- (a) 第1の処理工程において、金属粒子が水性分散剤中に分配されること、および
(b) 続く第2の処理工程において、第1の処理工程(a)で分散された金属粒子が、無機ベースの層、特にコーティングによって被覆されることを特徴とする改質金属粒子を製造する方法。 - 無機系層は、3〜150nmの範囲内、特に5〜120nmの範囲内、好ましくは8〜100nmの範囲内、より好ましくは10〜80nmの範囲内、特により好ましくは10〜50nmの範囲内の層厚で金属粒子上に堆積されることを特徴とする請求項10記載の方法。
- 無機系の層は、無機酸化物、特にケイ素、チタンおよび/またはジルコニウムの酸化物、好ましくは二酸化ケイ素および/または二酸化チタン、好ましくは二酸化ケイ素によって形成されることを特徴とする請求項10または11記載の方法。
- 前記第2の処理工程(b)において、無機系層は、化学反応、特に沈殿および/または縮合反応、好ましくは縮合反応によって金属粒子上に堆積されることを特徴とする請求項10〜12のいずれか1つに記載の製造方法。
- 前記第2の処理工程(b)において、金属粒子を含む分散液を少なくとも1種の改質剤と混合することを特徴とする請求項10〜13のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 改質試薬が、金属粒子の化学反応の後および/または化学反応の下で促進されることを特徴とする請求項14記載の方法。
- 改質試薬は、シラン、チタネートおよびジルコネートおよびそれらの混合物、特にシランおよびチタネートおよびそれらの混合物、特にシランから選択されることを特徴とする請求項14または15記載の方法。
- 前記第1の処理工程(a)で使用される分散媒が水または水と有機溶媒との混合物、特に水と有機溶媒との混合物であることを特徴とする請求項10〜16のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか1つに記載の表面が改質された金属粒子を含有する防食塗料組成物。
- 防食コーティングの調製のための請求項18に記載の防食コーティング組成物の使用。
- 請求項18に記載の防食コーティング組成物から得られる防食コーティング。
