Description
リン酸(583g 84%、5.0モル)を、水1600ml中に装入し、且つ110℃に加熱し、その後、攪拌下で水酸化アルミニウム(410g、水5%を有する水和物(Feuchthydrat)、5.0モル)を少量ずつ添加し、且つそのつど全てが溶解するまで待機し、その際、反応混合物を約120℃に加熱する。次いで、室温に冷却し、且つ沈殿した結晶性固体を濾紙(S&S Nr.604φ=110mm)により吸引し、水65mlで洗浄し、且つ一晩中110℃で乾燥させた。
収率929g、96.3%に相当。
生成物は、粉末回折図において37°、39°、42°及び66°(4Θ スケール)での二水和物に典型的な反射を有する。
比較配合物の製造のために、公知の配合物を、本発明によるオルトリン酸アルミニウム二水和物もしくは公知の非晶質APによって二酸化チタンを部分的に又は完全に代用することによって変性する。
貯蔵安定性を、粘度測定によって算出した。このテストのために、塗料を50℃で4週間貯蔵した。粘度を、製造直後のその日に測定し、次いで1週間毎に測定した。それにより、非晶質オルトリン酸アルミニウムを含有する染料が、高い出発粘度を有するか、又はすでに1週間後には粘度測定がもはや可能ではないほど固くなるかのいずれかであることがわかった。オルトリン酸アルミニウム二水和物を含有する塗料は、試験期間全体にわたって一様な粘度を示していた。
様々な配合物の白色度を、ドクターブレードを用いて300μmの厚さの着色層をPVC黒色シート上に塗布することで算出した。5日間の乾燥期間後、拡散照明によって反射された光を0゜の角度で測定する(Minolta,輝度計(Chromameter) CR−200)。
摩擦損失(耐摩擦性)を、DIN E 規格 13 300に従って測定した。このために、異なる配合物からドクターブレードを用いて300μmの厚さの着色層をPVC黒色シート上に塗布した。4週間の乾燥時間後、コーティングされたサンプルシートを秤量し、且つ摩擦試験装置中で200回の摩擦サイクルに曝した。次いで、サンプルを洗浄し、乾燥させ、且つ再度秤量した。質量損失を測定し、そこから平均的な層厚損失を計算した。
Claims (10)
- オルトリン酸アルミニウム二水和物から成る塗料用白色顔料。
- オルトリン酸アルミニウムが1〜15μmの粒度D50及び1〜30μmの粒度D90を有することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の白色顔料。
- オルトリン酸アルミニウムが300〜1000g/lの見掛け密度を有することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の白色顔料。
- 水性塗料又は溶剤含有塗料中で使用されることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の白色顔料。
- 他の白色顔料との組み合わせにおける水性分散塗料中での白色顔料としてのオルトリン酸アルミニウム二水和物の使用。
- 他の白色顔料が二酸化チタンであることを特徴とする、請求項5記載の使用。
- 請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の白色顔料の製造法であって、以下の工程:
a)アルミニウム塩及び/又は水酸化アルミニウムをリン酸及び/又はリン酸塩と水相中で80〜120℃の温度にて反応させる工程
b)結晶形で二水和物としてオルトリン酸アルミニウムを沈殿させる工程
c)オルトリン酸アルミニウムを濾過分離する工程及び
d)オルトリン酸アルミニウムを乾燥させる工程
を包含する、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の白色顔料の製造法。 - 工程d)の後、オルトリン酸アルミニウムを粒度D50 15μm以下及び粒度D90 30μm以下に粉砕し、且つ/又は篩い分けする工程をさらに包含することを特徴とする、請求項7記載の方法。
- 工程a)において水酸化アルミニウムをリン酸と反応させることを特徴とする、請求項7又は8記載の方法。
- 工程a)においてアルミニウム塩が硫酸アルミニウムであり、且つリン酸ナトリウムと反応させることを特徴とする、請求項7又は8記載の方法。
