Abstract
Description
図1から図21を参照して、実施形態について説明する。本実施形態は、端子圧着装置に関する。なお、図13には、図9のXIII−XIII断面が示されている。また、図20の断面図には、図13と同じ断面位置の断面が示されている。
実施形態の第1変形例について説明する。図22は、実施形態の第1変形例に係る規制部の斜視図、図23は、実施形態の第1変形例に係る規制部の動作を示す図である。第1変形例の規制部40には、押圧機構47が設けられている。押圧機構47は、圧着工程において連結部13を第一金型112に向けて押圧する。
実施形態の第2変形例について説明する。圧着端子1および規制部40の形状や寸法等は例示したものには限定されない。例えば、規制部40の一対の壁面41,41の間隔は、凹部43の奥部へ向かうに従って狭くされてもよい。

Claims (5)
- 相手方端子に対して接続される端子接続部、電線に対して圧着される電線接続部、および前記端子接続部と前記電線接続部の側壁同士を繋ぐ連結部を有する圧着端子を前記電線との圧着位置に供給する端子供給装置と、
前記圧着位置に供給された前記圧着端子の底部を支持する第一金型と、
前記第一金型に向けて相対移動しながら前記電線接続部を変形させ、前記電線接続部を前記電線に対して圧着させる第二金型と、
前記第二金型が前記電線接続部を圧着させる際に前記連結部を幅方向の両側から挟み込み、前記連結部の幅が前記端子接続部の幅よりも広くなることを規制する規制部と、
を備えることを特徴とする端子圧着装置。 - 前記規制部は、前記連結部を幅方向の両側から挟み込む一対の壁面を有し、前記一対の壁面の隙間の幅が前記端子接続部の幅に対応している
請求項1に記載の端子圧着装置。 - 前記規制部は、前記圧着端子の幅方向において互いに対向する一対の壁面を有し、
前記一対の壁面は、前記端子接続部の側壁と対向する第一領域と、前記連結部の側壁と対向する第二領域とを有し、
前記第二金型が前記電線接続部を圧着させる際に、前記第一領域が前記端子接続部の側壁と対向し始める時期は、前記第二領域が前記連結部の側壁と対向し始める時期よりも早い
請求項1に記載の端子圧着装置。 - 前記規制部は、前記第二金型と一体になって移動する
請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載の端子圧着装置。 - 更に、前記規制部に設けられ、前記連結部の底部を前記第一金型に向けて押圧する押圧機構を備える
