Claims (3)
- 燃焼室の内壁面となる冠面と、
前記冠面に設けられた窪みである第1キャビティと、
前記第1キャビティ内に設けられた窪みである第2キャビティと、
を備え、
前記第1キャビティのうち、前記第2キャビティに対して、前記冠面に沿って流れるタンブル流の流れ方向の上流側に位置する上流部は、該第1キャビティのうち、該第2キャビティに対して、該流れ方向の下流側に位置する下流部よりも、該流れ方向に長く延在することを特徴とする内燃機関のピストン。 - 前記第2キャビティは、短辺が前記流れ方向に沿う向きの楕円形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関のピストン。
- 燃焼室に対向する冠面と、
前記冠面に設けられた窪みである第1キャビティと、
前記第1キャビティに設けられた窪みであり、前記冠面に沿って流れるタンブル流の流れ方向に、短辺が沿う向きの楕円形状である第2キャビティと、
