Abstract
Description
日本製鋼所製二軸押出機1TEX30αを用いて本実施形態のニーディングディスク7と比較例のニーディングディスクの混練能力を比較した。スクリュ4の直径は30mmとした。樹脂原料として(株)プライムポリマー製ポリプロピレンJ108Mを使用し、二軸押出機への樹脂原料の投入温度は30℃、スクリュ回転数は100rpm、シリンダ設定温度は165℃とした。実施例は図2に示す実施形態と同様とし、比較例は図4(b)のニーディングディスク107と同様、帯状部が軸方向Xに直線状に延びる形状とした。図7に試験結果を示す。横軸はシリンダから1時間あたりに押し出された樹脂原料の量を示し、縦軸は押し出された樹脂原料における未溶融樹脂原料の量を規準化して示している。実線は実施例の近似曲線であり、破線は比較例の近似曲線である。縦軸が1を超えると未溶融樹脂原料が一定量存在し不良と判断した。押出量が増えると未溶融樹脂原料の比率が高くなり、縦軸が1に達したときの押出量が、そのスクリュを用いた場合の可塑化能力の上限値である。近似曲線に基づくと、実施例は比較例と比べ未溶融樹脂原料の比率が1に達するときの押出量が約40%増加している。従って、本発明により単位時間に可塑化可能な樹脂原料の量が増えること、すなわち可塑化能力が高められることが確認された。

Claims (10)
- 回転可能なシャフトに嵌められ、シリンダ内に配置されるニーディングディスクであって、
前記シリンダと対向する外周面は、前記シャフトの軸方向における前記ニーディングディスクの両端間を延び前記シリンダとの間隙が極小となる帯状部を有し、前記帯状部は少なくとも一つの屈曲部を有している、ニーディングディスク。 - 前記帯状部は、前記軸方向に対して斜めに延びる第1の部分と、前記屈曲部で前記第1の部分と接続され、前記軸方向に関し前記第1の部分と反対方向に斜めに延びる第2の部分と、を有している、請求項1に記載のニーディングディスク。
- 前記第1及び第2の部分は直線状に延び、前記第1及び第2の部分が前記軸方向となす鋭角は30度以上である、請求項2に記載のニーディングディスク。
- 前記第1及び第2の部分は曲線状に延びている、請求項2に記載のニーディングディスク。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の複数のニーディングディスクが前記軸方向に一体化されたスクリュエレメント。
- 前記ニーディングディスクの厚さは前記ニーディングディスクの最大直径の0.05〜2倍であり、前記ニーディングディスクの枚数は2〜30枚である、請求項5に記載のスクリュエレメント。
- 前記帯状部が前記屈曲部の付近に形成するポケットは、前記シャフトの回転方向に関し前記屈曲部の前方にある、請求項5または6に記載のスクリュエレメント。
- 前記帯状部が前記屈曲部の付近に形成するポケットは、前記シャフトの回転方向に関し前記屈曲部の後方にある、請求項5から6のいずれか1項に記載のスクリュエレメント。
- 請求項5から8のいずれか1項に記載の複数のスクリュエレメントと、前記複数のスクリュエレメントが嵌められるシャフトと、前記スクリュが配置されるシリンダと、を有する押出機。
- 前記複数のスクリュエレメントは、樹脂原料の搬送方向における上流側に配置された第1のスクリュエレメントと、前記第1のスクリュエレメントの下流側に配置された第2のスクリュエレメントと、前記第2のスクリュエレメントの下流側に配置された第3のスクリュエレメントと、を有し、
前記樹脂原料の搬送方向における上流側から下流側をみたときに、前記第1のスクリュエレメントは、各ニーディングディスクの前記屈曲部の角度位置が、その上流側で隣接する前記ニーディングディスクの前記屈曲部の角度位置に対して、前記シャフトの回転方向の反対方向に0度を超え60度以下の範囲の角度ずれた位置にあり、前記第2のスクリュエレメントは、各ニーディングディスクの前記屈曲部の角度位置が、その上流側で隣接する前記ニーディングディスクの前記屈曲部の角度位置に対して、前記シャフトの回転方向の反対方向に90度ずれた位置にあり、前記第3のスクリュエレメントは、各ニーディングディスクの前記屈曲部の角度位置が、その上流側で隣接する前記ニーディングディスクの前記屈曲部の角度位置に対して、前記シャフトの回転方向に0度を超え60度以下の範囲の角度ずれた位置にある、請求項9に記載の押出機。
