Abstract
Description
本願は、2013年4月14日に出願したPCT特許出願PCT/IL2013/050325に関するものであり、その内容は、参照として本明細書中に援用される。

Claims (46)
- 軸線方向に延びる構成を持つ周囲水中展開用の流出封じ込めブームユニットであって、前記軸線に直角な平面でチャンバを実質的に包囲する壁を持つ少なくとも1つの中空チャンバを形成する1つ以上の表面を備え、前記中空チャンバの少なくとも1つの壁が少なくとも1つの充填可能な区画を含む、ブームユニット。
- 前記中空チャンバは、前記ブームユニットの構造が外部作用力に対して安定化するのを助けるように構成された、請求項1に記載のブームユニット。
- 前記中空チャンバは複数の係止点によって画定され、前記係止点は、前記表面または表面の一部分の相互に対する少なくとも幾つかの動きを制限して、前記ブームユニットの構造を安定した状態に維持し、かつ/または前記チャンバが開口することあるいは形状もしくは角度を変えることを防止する、請求項1および2のいずれかに記載のブームユニット。
- 前記中空チャンバは、曲がるように適応されたブーム構造の一部分であって前記ブームの充填可能部分または充填部分より薄肉である複数の曲げ領域によって画定される、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のブームユニット。

- 前記構造はインサートを含み、前記インサートは前記区画の容積と略同一またはそれより大きい体積を有する、請求項28ないし36のいずれかに記載のブームユニット。
- 前記材料は、区画に整合するパターンで区画の内壁の80%未満に接着剤を噴霧し次いで材料を追加するプロセスを用いて、前記区画の壁に接着される、請求項28ないし37のいずれかに記載のブームユニット。
- 前記吸水性材料は、接着剤を用いて付着される、請求項28ないし38のいずれかに記載のブームユニット。
- 前記構造はインサートを含み、前記インサートは、前記材料を付着かつ/または挿入させた圧縮可能な開放セル構造を含む、請求項28ないし36のいずれかに記載のブームユニット。
- 前記吸水性材料と混合または隣接した発熱性材料を含み、それは塩水に接触したときに熱を発生し、前記発熱性材料は、吸水性材料および/または周囲水を加熱して吸水速度を少なくとも30%高めるのに充分な量で含有される、請求項28ないし40のいずれかに記載のブームユニット。
- 前記ブームユニットの前記区画は実質的に吸水性材料および/または関連構造のみを含み、ブームユニットは追加の区画を含まない、請求項28ないし40のいずれかに記載のブームユニット。

- 前記区画の1つ以上が、水を吸収したときに凝固して前記区画の容積より少なくとも1%ないし5%大きい体積になって前記区画の内壁に圧力を加え、それにより前記区画の剛性を高める量のSAPを含有する、請求項36に記載のブームユニット。
- SAPを含有した前記1つ以上の区画に複合材繊維を添加してブームの重量を増大させた、請求項36に記載のブームユニット。
