Abstract
Description
本出願は、2014年10月2日付韓国特許出願第10−2014−0133019号に基づいた優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示されている全ての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。

Li1+aFe1−xMx(PO4−b)Xb (1)
前記式(1)で、Mは、Al、Mg、Ni、Co、Mn、Ti、Ga、V、Nb、Zr、Ce、In、Zn、Yまたはこれらの組み合わせであり、Xは、F、S、Nまたはこれらの組み合わせであり、aは−0.5≦a≦0.5で、bは0≦b≦0.1であり、xは0≦x≦0.5である。
1)正極活物質スラリーの製造
LiFePO4にポリビニリデンフルオリド、スチレン−ブタジエンゴム、デンカブラック及びNMPを添加し、混合して正極活物質スラリーを製造した。このとき、前記ポリビニリデンフルオリド及びスチレン−ブタジエンゴムは8:2の重量比で用いた。製造された正極活物質スラリーの固形粉の濃度は64%、粘度は19,500cpsであった。
前記製造された正極活物質スラリーを20μm厚さのアルミニウム薄膜に塗布し、130℃で12時間の間真空乾燥して正極活物質層が形成された正極を製造した。
正極活物質スラリーの製造時に、前記ポリビニリデンフルオリド及びスチレン−ブタジエンゴムを7:3の重量比で用いたことを除き、前記実施例1と同様の方法を介して試験用モノセルを製作した。一方、製造された正極活物質スラリーの固形粉の濃度は64%、粘度は15,000cpsであった。
正極活物質スラリーの製造時に、スチレン−ブタジエンゴムを用いずにポリビニリデンフルオリドだけを用い、NMPを二倍の量で用いたことを除き、前記実施例1と同様の方法を介して試験用モノセルを製作した。一方、製造された正極活物質スラリーの固形粉の濃度は46%、粘度は20,000cpsであった。
正極活物質スラリーの製造時に、前記ポリビニリデンフルオリド及びスチレン−ブタジエンゴムを9.5:0.5の重量比で用いたことを除き、前記実施例1と同様の方法を介して試験用モノセルを製作した。一方、製造された正極活物質スラリーの固形粉の濃度は46%、粘度は18,000cpsであった。
前記実施例1及び2と比較例1及び2の各正極活物質スラリーの固形粉の濃度及び粘度を比較分析するため、それぞれの固形粉の濃度及び粘度を測定した。
前記実施例1及び2と比較例1及び2で製作した各モノセルの容量特性を比較分析した。結果を図1に示した。
前記実施例1及び2と比較例1で製作した各リチウム二次電池の寿命特性を比較分析した。結果を図2に示した。
前記実施例1及び2と比較例1及び2で製作した各リチウム二次電池の面抵抗特性を比較分析した。結果を図3に示した。
Claims (13)
- 正極活物質;第1バインダー、第2バインダー及び有機溶媒を含み、
前記第1バインダーがフッ素系バインダーで、
前記第2バインダーがブタジエンゴム系バインダーであり、
前記第1バインダーと第2バインダーは9:1から7:3の重量比を有することを特徴とする正極活物質スラリー。 - 前記正極活物質は、下記式(1)で表されるリチウム鉄リン酸塩系正極活物質であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の正極活物質スラリー:

前記式(1)で、
Mは、Al、Mg、Ni、Co、Mn、Ti、Ga、V、Nb、Zr、Ce、In、Zn、Yまたはこれらの組み合わせであり、
Xは、F、S、Nまたはこれらの組み合わせであり、
aは−0.5≦a≦0.5で、
bは0≦b≦0.1であり、
xは0≦x≦0.5である。 - 前記正極活物質は、LiFePO4、LiFeMnPO4、LiFeMgPO4、LiFeNiPO4、LiFeAlPO4またはLiFeCoNiMnPO4であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の正極活物質スラリー。
- 前記正極活物質は、正極活物質スラリーの全体固形粉の含量に対し50重量%から65重量%で含まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の正極活物質スラリー。
- 前記第1バインダーは、ポリビニリデンフルオリド(PVDF)、ビニリデンフルオリド−ヘキサフルオロプロピレンコポリマー(PVDF−co−HEP)、クロロトリフルオロエチレン(CFTF)及びポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)からなる群より選択される1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の正極活物質スラリー。
- 前記第2バインダーは、スチレン−ブタジエンゴム及びニトリル−ブタジエンゴムからなる群より選択される1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の正極活物質スラリー。
- 前記第2バインダーは、正極活物質スラリーの全体100重量部に対し20重量部から30重量部で含まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の正極活物質スラリー。
- 前記正極活物質スラリーは、導電材をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の正極活物質スラリー。
- 前記有機溶媒は、N−メチルピロリドン(NMP)及びN,N−ジメチルアセトアミド(DMAc)からなる群より選択される1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の正極活物質スラリー。
- 前記正極活物質スラリーは、固形粉の濃度が55%から65%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の正極活物質スラリー。
- 前記正極活物質スラリーは、粘度が5,000から20,000cpsであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の正極活物質スラリー。
- 請求項1に記載の正極活物質スラリーから形成された正極活物質層を含む正極。
- 請求項12に記載の正極、負極、及び前記正極と負極の間に介在されている分離膜を含むリチウム二次電池。
