d)患者から複数の針を引き抜きながら針から患者内に物質を放出するステップと、
を含む方法を提供する。
a.患者の皮膚の、表面積と第1の平均温度とを含む第1の外面を選択するステップと、
b.第1の表面を第2の平均温度に冷却するステップと、
c.第1の表面から患者内に均一な距離だけ延びる複数の針を第1の表面内に進入させるステップと、
d.患者から複数の針を引き抜きながら針から患者内に物質を放出するステップと、
e.ステップa、b、c及びdを繰り返して患者にさらなる物質を送達するステップと、
を含む方法を提供する。
皮膚の第1の外面とは、(単複の)針を最初に被験者内に進入させる際に針の先端が接近できる皮膚のいずれかの表面のことである。従って、真皮層と直接接触する表皮層の部分とは対照的に、被験者の周囲の大気に曝される皮膚の表皮層を第1の外面とすることができる。第1の任意の実施形態では、ステップb(冷却ステップ)が省略される。この任意の実施形態では、方法が、ステップcの進入に関連するあらゆる不快感を低減するために、第1の外面に麻酔を送達するステップを含むことができる。第2の任意の実施形態では、ステップc(進入ステップ)が、複数の針を用いるのではなく、従って第1の表面から患者内に均一な距離だけ延びるのではなく単一の針を用いて実行され、ステップcでは、第1の表面から患者内に一定距離だけ延びる1本の針を単純に表面内に進入させる。第3の任意の実施形態では、ステップd(引き抜き及び放出ステップ)において物質が放出されるが、この放出が、必ずしも患者から針が引き抜かれている間に行われるとは限らない。従って、この任意の実施形態では、ステップdが、針から患者内に物質が放出され、針が患者から引き抜かれると記載されるが、この2つのイベントが必ずしも同時に行われるとは限らない。第4の任意の実施形態では、ステップe(繰り返しステップ)が省略され、患者は、1回の注入は必ず受けるが、任意に複数回の注入も受ける。第5の任意の実施形態では、ステップeが、前回の注入によって物質が送達された位置と同じ位置においてさらなる物質が患者に送達されることをさらに必要とする。換言すれば、患者は、異なる時点ではあるが自身の同じ位置で複数回の注入を受ける。

Claims (15)
- 真皮注入器システムであって、
a)少なくとも1つの針と機械的に連通するように構成された注入器と、前記少なくとも1つの針を通じて注入可能な少なくとも1種類の物質を保持するように構成されたカートリッジと、前記少なくとも1つの針を前進及び後退させるように構成された電気機械的駆動装置と、通信インターフェイスとを有する注入装置と、
b)前記通信インターフェイスを介して前記注入装置に通信可能に接続でき、且つ、プロセッサと、プロセッサ実行可能命令を記憶するように構成されたメモリと、複数のセンサとを含む制御ユニットと、
を備え、
前記複数のセンサのうちの第1のセンサは、前記少なくとも1つの針の位置に関連する情報を伝えるように構成され、第2のセンサは、前記カートリッジに関連する情報を伝えるように構成される、
ことを特徴とする真皮注入器システム。 - 前記少なくとも1つの針は、針配列を含む、
請求項1に記載の真皮注入器システム。 - 前記カートリッジは、少なくともRFID又はバーコードを含み、該RFID又はバーコードは、前記カートリッジ内の物質に関する情報を記憶するように構成される、
請求項1に記載の真皮注入器システム。 - c)前記注入装置に結合できる冷却先端部をさらに備える、
請求項1に記載の真皮注入器システム。 - 前記冷却先端部は、前記制御ユニットに温度情報を提供するように構成される、
請求項4に記載の真皮注入器システム。 - 前記冷却先端部は、ペルチェ素子である、
請求項4に記載の真皮注入器システム。 - 前記制御ユニットは、針深さ、物質量及び針速度のうちの少なくとも1つを指示するユーザ入力を受け取るように構成される、
請求項1に記載の真皮注入器システム。 - 方法を実行するようにコンピュータシステムを構成する記憶コンテンツを有する非一時的コンピュータ可読記憶媒体であって、前記方法は、
a)前記非一時的コンピュータ可読記憶媒体に記憶された命令を実行するように構成されたプロセッサを有する制御ユニットに注入装置を通信可能に結合するステップと、
b)前記制御ユニットにおいて、注入中における前記注入装置の針の深さを指示する第1のユーザ入力を受け取るステップと、
c)前記制御ユニットにおいて、前記注入中に前記針を通じて送達される物質の量を指示する第2のユーザ入力を受け取るステップと、
d)前記制御ユニットにおいて、前記注入中における前記針の速度を指示する第3のユーザ入力を受け取るステップと、
e)前記制御ユニットにおいて、前記注入が行われた旨の指示を受け取るステップと、
を含む、
ことを特徴とする非一時的コンピュータ可読記憶媒体。 - 前記方法は、
f)前記注入中における、前記注入装置に結合された冷却先端部に関連する温度情報を受け取るステップと、
g)前記注入の状況に関連する少なくとも1つの可聴出力又は少なくとも1つの視覚出力を提供するステップと、
h)臨床医による前記注入の実行を指示する少なくとも1つの可聴出力又は少なくとも1つの視覚出力を提供するステップと、
i)注入が何回行われたかを示すデータを前記制御ユニットに蓄積するステップと、
j)前記制御ユニットにおいて、前記注入中に患者に送達された物質を識別する情報を受け取るステップと、
のうちの少なくとも1つをさらに含む、
請求項8に記載のコンピュータ可読記憶媒体。 - 近位端と、被験者の体内に液体物質を導入する遠位端とを有する注入装置(10)であって、
a)少なくとも1つの針(24)と、該少なくとも1つの針のためのハウジング(26)とを含む注入器(14)と、
b)前記液体物質を保持する少なくとも1つのチャンバ(20)と、前記チャンバ内を移動して前記チャンバの体積を変化させるプランジャ(48)とを含むカートリッジ(16)と、
c)前記プランジャ及び前記針を前記装置(10)の前記遠位端に向けて単独で移動させる送達機構(40)と、
を備え、前記送達機構は、前記装置の前記近位端に対して移動可能な遠位駆動部(42)と、前記装置の前記近位端に対して静止した近位駆動部と、前記近位駆動部及び前記遠位駆動部と前記プランジャとを接合するねじロッド(46)とを含む、
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記遠位駆動部(42)及び前記近位駆動部(44)は、前記針が後退位置にある時に互いに隣接し、前記針が延伸位置にある時に互いに分離する、
請求項10に記載の装置(10)。 - 前記被験者の体内に同時に進入するように構成された複数の針(24)を有する、
請求項10に記載の装置(10)。 - 組織内に細胞を送達する方法であって、請求項1に記載の注入装置内に前記細胞を配置するステップと、このステップの後に前記装置から前記組織内に前記細胞を注入するステップとを含む、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 組織内にヒアルロン酸を送達する方法であって、請求項1に記載の注入装置内に前記ヒアルロン酸を配置するステップと、このステップの後に前記組織内に前記ヒアルロン酸を注入するステップとを含む、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - e)表面積と第1の平均温度とを含む、患者の皮膚の第1の外面を選択するステップと、
f)前記第1の表面を第2の平均温度に冷却するステップと、
g)前記第1の表面から前記患者内に均一な距離だけ延びる複数の針を前記第1の表面内に進入させるステップと、
h)前記針から前記患者内に物質を放出しながら前記患者から前記複数の針を引き抜くステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。
