Abstract
Description
DG=0.225DS
ここで、DS:粒子の直径であり、DG:観念上の四面体の角に配置された4つの粒子間の間隙に嵌まる概念上の球の直径である。例えば、1mm径の球状粒子の規則的な配列において、求められる最小間隙は225μmである。
本発明の第2の態様に係る装置を提供するステップと;
第1のフィード及び第2のフィードを導管入口から導管に供給するステップであって、第1のフィードはガスを含み、第2のフィードは界面活性剤溶液を含む、ステップと;
第1、第2のフィードをプラグを通して送り込み、フォームを形成するステップと
を含む。
ロータ/ステータ部品を備えたフォームジェネレータ、すなわち動的フォームジェネレータに空気及び発泡剤溶液の一定の流れを送り込むことにより、フォームを生成した。フォーム生成条件は以下のとおり設定した。
− フォームジェネレータスピード:約2900rpm
− ロータ/ステータ間隙:約0.5mm
− 発泡剤:GEO Speciality ChemicalsのHyonic PFM10発泡剤(これは不安定発泡剤である)
− 発泡剤濃度:約0.5wt%
− フォーム密度:約91g/l
図1に示すタイプの静的フォーム生成装置に空気及び発泡剤溶液を通過させることにより、フォームを生成した。この場合、フォーム生成条件は以下のとおり設定した。
− 充填粒子:直径約1mmの球状粒子
− フォームジェネレータ逆圧:約2バール
− ピンチ弁内圧:約6バール
− 発泡剤:Stepan CompanyのSTEOL DES32i(これは、C8〜C12の範囲の平均炭素鎖長を有するアルキルエーテル硫酸塩ベースの発泡剤である)
− 発泡剤濃度:約1wt%
− フォーム密度:約91g/l
次に、予備生成したフォームをプレミックス石膏スタッコスラリーと種々の比率で穏やかにブレンドし、種々の密度レベル(0.5〜最大0.8g/cm3)を有する複数の石膏供試体を作製した。典型的なスラリー組成を表1に示す。
光学顕微鏡機器とImageJ(登録商標)ソフトウェアを使用して、石膏供試体の発泡形態及びコア構造を分析した。
比較例1と実施例1に関する押し込み強度の結果を表3に示す。この試験は、約8mm直径の球形ヘッド圧子を使用した押し込み強度の計測からなる。押し込み強度(剛性とも呼ばれる)は、変形(mm)に対する歪み(N)に関する曲線の傾きに対応する。
Claims (15)
- ガスフィード及び界面活性剤フィードを受け取るための入口と、フォームの抜き出しを可能にするための出口とを有する導管を含む、セメント系スラリーに添合するためのフォームを調製する装置であって、
前記導管は該導管に沿った流体の流れに対する部分的障壁を提供する多孔質プラグを格納し、該プラグは規則的な配列で充填される複数の粒子を含み、該粒子はそれらの間に延在する細孔の3次元網目構造を画成し、
前記装置は、前記プラグと前記導管との間に位置する弾性部品を含む、フォームを調整する装置。 - 前記弾性部品は、前記導管の径方向内側に配設されるスリーブを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記スリーブが前記粒子のプラグを押圧するように、前記スリーブに対して該スリーブの径方向内向きに圧力を加える手段をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記出口はシーブを含み、該シーブは前記プラグの下流端に向けられる突起の配列を含み、該突起がそれらの間に対応する開口部の配列を提供し、それにより、フォームが前記プラグを抜け出ることを可能にするように配置される、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記突起は半球状である、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記突起の直径は、前記球状粒子の直径の1〜4倍である、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記出口は前記導管の下流に向かって縮径し、及び/又は前記入口は前記導管の下流に向かって外側に広がっている、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 石膏スラリーに添合するためのフォームを調製する方法であって、
請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の装置を提供するステップと;
第1のフィード及び第2のフィードを前記導管入口から前記導管に供給するステップであって、前記第1のフィードがガスを含むと共に前記第2のフィードが界面活性剤を含む、ステップと;
前記第1、第2のフィードを前記複数の粒子を通して送り込んでフォームを形成するステップと
を含む、フォームを調製する方法。 - 前記スリーブが前記ビーズのプラグを押圧するように、前記スリーブに対して該スリーブの径方向内向きに圧力を加えるステップをさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記圧力は3〜9バールの範囲である、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記導管の前記出口におけるガス圧は、1〜3バールの範囲にある、請求項8〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記フォームに安定化添加剤を加えるステップをさらに含む、請求項8〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記フォームを石膏スラリーなどの水硬結合剤スラリーに添合するさらなるステップを含む、請求項8〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 石膏スタッコスラリーを提供するステップと、該スラリーにフォームを添合するステップとを含む、石膏製品を調製する方法であって、
前記フォームの気泡径分散度指数は1.4未満であり、かつ前記フォームの平均気泡径は少なくとも100μmである、石膏製品を調整する方法。 - 細孔の分散度が1.4未満であり、かつ平均細孔径が少なくとも300μmである、セメント系製品。
