Abstract
Description
以下の一般的な手順により、パラジウムは、PNA 1A(Pd/CHA)、比較PNA 1B(Pd/MFI)及び比較PNA 1C(Pd/BEA)を生じさせるように、26のシリカ対アルミナ比(SAR)を有する小細孔チャバサイト(CHA)ゼオライト、SAR=23を有する中細孔ZSM−5(MFI)ゼオライト及びSAR=26を有する大細孔ベータ(BEA)ゼオライトに加えられる:粉末触媒は、前駆体として硝酸パラジウムを使用してゼオライトのウエット含浸により調製される。100℃での乾燥後、試料は500℃でか焼される。試料は、その後、H2Oを10%含有する空気雰囲気中、750℃で、水熱的にエージングされる。3つの試料全てに対するPd充填量は、1重量%である。
PNA(0.4g)は、300Lhr−1g−1のMHSVで毎分2リットル流れるNO含有ガス混合物中で、2分間、約80℃の吸着温度で保たれる。この吸着段階の後に、更なる試験のために、貯蔵されたNOxの全てを触媒からパージするために、NO含有ガスの存在下、床温度が約400℃に達するまで、10℃/分のランピング速度で昇温脱離(TPD)が続く。試験は、その後、80℃の代わりに、170℃の吸着温度から開始して繰り返される。
PNA 1A及び比較PNA 1Dは、触媒のグラム毎に約64mgのSを加えるように、300℃で、それらをSO2含有ガス(100ppmのSO2、10%のO2、5%のCO2及びH2O、残部N2)と接触させることにより、高レベルのサルフェーションにかけられた。サルフェーション前後の触媒のNOx貯蔵容量は、実施例2の手順に従い100℃で測定される。結果は、表2に列挙される。
パラジウムは、実施例1の手順に従い、一連の小細孔モレキュラーシーブに加えられる。Pd充填量は、全ての試料に対して1重量%で保たれる。試料は、H2Oを10%含有する空気雰囲気中、750℃で、水熱的にエージングされる。エージングされた試料は、その後、実施例2の手順に従い、それらのNOx貯蔵容量について試験される。
パラジウムは、実施例1の手順に従い、小細孔モレキュラーシーブCHAに加えられる。Pd充填量は、試料に対して2重量%に増加される。試料は、H2Oを10%含有する空気雰囲気中、750℃で、水熱的にエージングされる。エージング試料は、実施例2の手順に従い、それのNOx貯蔵容量について試験される。試料上での、80及び170℃でのNOx貯蔵容量は、表4に列挙される。
Claims (16)
- 低温度以下でNOxを吸着すること及び低温度より上の温度で吸着されたNOxを放出することに効果的な受動的NOxアドソーバであって、貴金属、及び8つのテトラヘドラル原子の最大リングサイズを有する小細孔モレキュラーシーブを含む、受動的NOxアドソーバ。
- 貴金属が、白金、パラジウム、ロジウム、金、銀、イリジウム、ルテニウム、オスミウム及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の受動的NOxアドソーバ。
- 貴金属がパラジウムである、請求項1に記載の受動的NOxアドソーバ。
- 小細孔モレキュラーシーブが、アルミノシリケートモレキュラーシーブ、金属置換されたアルミノシリケートモレキュラーシーブ、アルミノホスフェートモレキュラーシーブ及び金属置換されたアルミノホスフェートモレキュラーシーブからなる群から選択される、請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載の受動的NOxアドソーバ。
- 小細孔モレキュラーシーブが、ACO、AEI、AEN、AFN、AFT、AFX、ANA、APC、APD、ATT、CDO、CHA、DDR、DFT、EAB、EDI、EPI、ERI、GIS、GOO、IHW、ITE、ITW、LEV、KFI、MER、MON、NSI、OWE、PAU、PHI、RHO、RTH、SAT、SAV、SIV、THO、TSC、UEI、UFI、VNI、YUG、ZON及びそれらの混合物又は連晶:からなるフレームワークタイプの群から選択される、請求項1から4の何れか一項に記載の受動的NOxアドソーバ。
- 小細孔モレキュラーシーブが、AEI及びCHAからなるフレームワークタイプ群から選択される、請求項5に記載の受動的NOxアドソーバ。
- 小細孔モレキュラーシーブの連晶が、KFI−SIV、ITE−RTH、AEW−UEI、AEI−CHA及びAEI−SAVを含む、請求項5に記載の受動的NOxアドソーバ。
- フロースルー又はフィルター基材上にコーティングされている、請求項1から7の何れか一項に記載の受動的NOxアドソーバ。
- フロースルー基材がハニカムモノリスである、請求項8に記載の受動的NOxアドソーバ。
- 押出成形されてフロースルー又はフィルター基材を形成している、請求項1から7の何れか一項に記載の受動的NOxアドソーバ。
- 貴金属の総量の5%より多くが小細孔モレキュラーシーブの細孔の内側に位置する、請求項1から10の何れか一項に記載の受動的NOxアドソーバ。
- 低温度が200℃である、請求項1から11の何れか一項に記載の受動的NOxアドソーバ。
- 請求項1から12の何れか一項に記載の受動的NOxアドソーバ、並びに選択的触媒的還元(SCR)触媒、微粒子フィルター、SCRフィルター、NOx吸着触媒、三元触媒、酸化触媒及びそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される触媒コンポーネントを含む、内燃機関のための排気システム。
- 請求項1から13の何れか一項に記載の受動的NOxアドソーバ上に低温度以下でNOxを吸着すること、低温度より上の温度で受動的NOxアドソーバからNOxを熱的に放出すること、及び放出されたNOxを、受動的NOxアドソーバの下流の触媒コンポーネント上で触媒的に除去することを含む、排気ガス中のNOxを低減するための方法。
- 選択的触媒的還元(SCR)触媒、微粒子フィルター、SCRフィルター、NOxアドソーバ触媒、三元触媒、酸化触媒及びそれらの組合せからなる群から触媒コンポーネントが選択される、請求項14に記載の方法。
