上記した実施形態では、図3、図5、及び図7に示すように、一続きのサイプ7、8、9が、サイプ長さ方向Xの全体にわたって同種のサイプからなる場合について説明したが、本発明はこれに限定されず、図8に例示するように、サイプ長さ方向Xでサイプの種類が変化してもよい。すなわち、図8の場合、陸部5には、第1の立体サイプ7のサイプ長さ方向Xの両端に平面サイプ9が繋げて設けられている。また、図示しないが、第1の立体サイプ7と第2の立体サイプ8を繋げたサイプを陸部5に設けたり、第2の立体サイプ8と平面サイプ9を繋げたサイプを陸部5に繋げて設けてもよい。
テスト車両(1500cc、4WDミドルセダン車)に実施例1〜4及び比較例1〜6の各タイヤを装着してアイス路面を走行させ、速度40km/hで制動力をかけてABSを作動させた際の制動距離の逆数を評価した。比較例1の結果を100として指数で示し、数値が大きいほどアイス路面における制動性能に優れていることを示す。
テスト車両(1500cc、4WDミドルセダン車)に実施例1〜4及び比較例1〜6の各タイヤを装着してドライ路面を走行させ、加速・制動・旋回・レーンチェンジの官能評価点を指数化した。数値が大きいほどドライ路面における操安性能に優れていることを示す。
Claims (6)
- トレッドゴムを備え、
前記トレッドゴムは、複数の第1の立体サイプと複数の第2の立体サイプとを備え、
前記第1の立体サイプは、サイプ幅がサイプ深さ方向にわたって一定に設けられ、サイプ長さ方向に垂直な断面視にてサイプ幅方向に屈曲した形状のサイプ壁面を備え、
前記第2の立体サイプは、トレッドゴムの表面より広いサイプ幅の幅広部を前記トレッドゴムの内部に備え、
前記トレッドゴムは、車両装着時に内側に配置される車両内側領域において、前記第2の立体サイプの表面長さ総和が前記第1の立体サイプの表面長さ総和よりも長く、車両装着時に外側に配置される車両外側領域において、前記第1の立体サイプの表面長さ総和が前記第2の立体サイプの表面長さ総和よりも長く、
前記車両外側領域の前記トレッドゴムのゴム硬度が、前記車両内側領域の前記トレッドゴムのゴム硬度より大きい空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記トレッドゴムは、前記車両内側領域に、タイヤ周方向に延びる複数本の主溝と、前記主溝の間に形成され前記第1の立体サイプ及び前記第2の立体サイプが設けられた複数の陸部とを備え、
前記車両内側領域に設けられた前記陸部は、前記第1の立体サイプの表面長さ総和と前記第2の立体サイプの表面長さ総和との和に対する前記第2の立体サイプの表面長さ総和の比からなる第2の比率が、接地端に近い前記陸部ほど大きい請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記トレッドゴムは、前記車両外側領域に、タイヤ周方向に延びる複数本の主溝と、前記主溝の間に形成され前記第1の立体サイプ及び前記第2の立体サイプが設けられた複数の陸部とを備え、
前記車両外側領域に設けられた前記陸部は、前記第1の立体サイプの表面長さ総和と前記第2の立体サイプの表面長さ総和との和に対する前記第1の立体サイプの表面長さ総和の比からなる第1の比率が、接地端に近い前記陸部ほど大きい請求項1又は2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記車両内側領域に設けられた前記陸部は、タイヤ幅方向に隣接する前記陸部の前記第2の比率の差が5〜15%の範囲にある請求項2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記車両外側領域に設けられた前記陸部は、タイヤ幅方向に隣接する前記陸部の前記第1の比率の差が5〜15%の範囲にある請求項3に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記トレッドゴムは、複数の平面サイプを備え、
前記平面サイプは、サイプ長さ方向に垂直な断面視にて直線形状のサイプ壁面を備え、
前記第1の立体サイプの表面長さ総和と前記第2の立体サイプの表面長さ総和との和が、前記平面サイプの表面長さ総和よりも長い請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
