タンクサイドカバー部２５ｂの後部の下縁に、下方に突出するサイドカバー取付片８６が設けられている。このサイドカバー取付片８６に、車幅方向を向いたサイドカバー取付孔８６ａが形成されている。シュラウド部２５ａの後縁に、後方に突出するピボットカバー取付片８８が設けられている。このピボットカバー取付片８８に、車幅方向を向いたピボットカバー取付孔８８ａが形成されている。
つぎに、円筒体４４にタンクキャップ１０４を取り付ける。タンクキャップ１０４は、複数の（本実施形態では３本の）ボルト１０６により、ダンパー１０５を介して円筒体４４に取り付けられる。ボルト１０６は、円筒体４４の内側に設けたボスのねじ孔（図示せず）にねじ込まれる。
