- 粘着性物質(168)をカートリッジ(166)からブラシ(298)へ搬送するための装置(102)であって、前記装置(102)が、
中心軸線(121)と、入口(124)と、前記入口(124)の反対側の出口(128)とを備えるスリーブ(106)であって、前記スリーブ(106)が、前記入口(124)を通って前記カートリッジ(166)を受けるように構成されている、スリーブ(106)と、
圧力キャップアセンブリ(104)であって、前記スリーブ(106)に結合されており、
前記スリーブ(106)の前記入口(124)近傍の圧力キャップ(110)であって、
前記カートリッジ(166)が前記スリーブ(106)の内部に受けられると、前記圧力キャップ(110)が前記カートリッジ(166)の後端(169)と封止係合する閉鎖位置と、前記圧力キャップ(110)が、前記入口(124)を通って前記スリーブ(106)の内部に前記カートリッジ(166)をインサートするために十分な間隙を提供する開放位置との間で、前記圧力キャップ(110)が、包括的に移動可能であり、
前記圧力キャップ(110)が、圧力入力(118)を含み、前記カートリッジ(166)が前記スリーブ(106)の内部に受けられ、前記圧力キャップ(110)が閉鎖位置にあり、前記カートリッジ(166)の先端(167)が弁(154)と封止係合している場合、前記カートリッジ(166)内の前記粘着性物質(168)に圧力を加えるように選択的に作動可能である、前記圧力キャップ(110)と、
前記圧力キャップ(110)及び前記スリーブ(106)に結合されるアクチュエータ(114)であって、前記アクチュエータ(114)が、前記圧力キャップ(110)を前記スリーブ(106)に対して前記閉鎖位置と前記開放位置との間で包括的に移動するように選択的に作動可能であるアクチュエータ(114)と、を備える圧力キャップアセンブリ(104)と、
前記スリーブ(106)の前記出口(128)近傍の弁インターフェース(108)であって、前記弁インターフェース(108)が、前記弁(154)に結合されるように構成される、弁インターフェース(108)と、
前記スリーブ(106)に結合されるブラシアームアセンブリ(176)であって、
前記ブラシアームアセンブリ(176)が、前記ブラシ(298)を保持するように構成され、前記ブラシ(298)を回転させることができ、
前記圧力が前記カートリッジ(166)内の前記粘着性物質(168)に加えられる場合、少なくとも、前記ブラシアームアセンブリ(176)が前記ブラシ(298)を回転させるとき、前記粘着性物質(168)が前記カートリッジ(166)から前記ブラシ(298)へ流れることができるように、前記弁(154)が選択的に作動可能である、ブラシアームアセンブリ(176)と

- 前記ブラシアームアセンブリ(176)に着脱自在に結合されるように構成されるキャップ(196)を更に備え、前記ブラシ(298)が前記ブラシアームアセンブリ(176)によって着脱自在に保持される場合で、かつ、前記ブラシアームアセンブリ(176)が前記ブラシ(298)を回転させる場合、前記キャップ(196)が、前記物質搬送管(174)から前記ブラシ(298)へ前記粘着性物質(168)を導くように構成される、請求項12又は13に記載の装置(102)。
- 前記キャップ(196)が、前記キャップ(196)を通って延伸するチャネル(202)を備え、
前記チャネル(202)が周方向に閉鎖され、
前記ブラシ(298)が前記ブラシアームアセンブリ(176)によって着脱自在に保持される場合で、かつ、前記ブラシアームアセンブリ(176)が前記ブラシ(298)を回転させる場合、前記粘着性物質(168)が前記物質搬送管(174)から前記キャップ(196)の前記チャネル(202)を通って、前記ブラシ(298)へ移動する、請求項14に記載の装置(102)。 - 前記キャップ(196)が、前記ブラシ(298)の中空シャフト(222)と封止を形成するように構成されるガスケット(204)を更に備え、前記ブラシ(298)の前記中空シャフト(222)が前記ガスケット(204)に対して回転可能である、請求項15に記載の装置(102)。
- 前記キャップ(196)が、前記チャネル(202)と通信可能に結合され、前記ブラシ(298)の前記中空シャフト(222)を受けるように構成される第1のレセプタクル(205)を更に備え、

前記キャップ(196)が前記駆動要素筐体(179)に接触し、前記レセプタクル(205)が前記第1の駆動要素(292)に対して同軸に配置される場合、前記駆動要素筐体(179)から延伸し、前記保持スロット(200)に係合するように構成される保持要素(210)を前記ブラシアームアセンブリ(176)が更に備える、請求項17に記載の装置(102)。 - 粘着性物質(168)をカートリッジ(166)からブラシ(298)へ搬送する方法(300)であって、前記方法は、
スリーブ(106)の入口(124)近傍に配置された圧力キャップ(110)が開放位置にある間に、前記スリーブ(106)の前記入口(124)を通って前記スリーブ(106)の内部に前記カートリッジ(166)を受けるステップであって、前記カートリッジ(166)が、先端(167)及び後端(169)を含む、ステップと、
前記スリーブ(106)の前記入口(124)近傍に配置された前記圧力キャップ(110)を閉鎖位置に移動して、前記圧力キャップ(110)を前記カートリッジ(166)の前記後端(169)に密封式に結合し、かつ弁(154)を前記カートリッジ(166)の前記先端(167)に密封式に結合するステップと、
前記圧力キャップ(110)の圧力入力(118)を通って、前記カートリッジ(166)内の前記粘着性物質(168)に圧力を加えて、前記粘着性物質(168)を前記カートリッジ(166)から前記弁(154)へ追い出すステップと、
前記ブラシ(298)を回転させるステップと、
前記弁(154)を開放して、少なくとも、前記ブラシ(298)が回転している場合、前記粘着性物質(168)が前記弁(154)から前記ブラシ(298)へ流れることを可能にするステップと
を含む、方法(300)。
