Abstract
Description
a)400g/100gポリマーより低いヨウ素価を有するポリマー(ここでそのポリマーは、エチレン、1種または複数のC3〜C23α−オレフィンおよびポリエンモノマーのコポリマー、好ましくはエチレン、プロピレンおよびポリエンモノマーのコポリマー(EPDM)である、エラストマー性ポリマーである)、
b)芳香族基を有する有機ペルオキシド、および
c)3〜6Åの孔径を有するゼオライト。
成分a)の好ましいポリマーとしてはさらに、DIN/ISO 1629においてタイプMのゴムと呼ばれているエラストマー性ポリマーが挙げられる。Mゴムとしては、たとえばエチレンプロピレンジエンゴム(EPDM)が挙げられる。
成分b)の好適なペルオキシドは以下のものである:ジ(tert−ブチルペルオキシイソプロピル)ベンゼン、ジクミルペルオキシド、tert−ブチルペルオキシベンゾエート、tert−ブチルクミルペルオキシド、ジベンゾイルペルオキシド、ジ(2,4−ジクロロベンゾイル)ペルオキシド、およびジ(4−メチルベンゾイル)ペルオキシド。好ましいペルオキシドは、ジ(tert−ブチルペルオキシイソプロピル)ベンゼンおよびジクミルペルオキシドである。最も好ましいペルオキシドは、ジ(tert−ブチルペルオキシイソプロピル)ベンゼンである。
成分c)としてのゼオライトは、三次元の多孔質構造を有する、天然または合成の結晶性アルミナ−シリケートミクロポーラス物質であってよい。ゼオライトは、それらの化学的組成およびX線回折パターンで求められる結晶構造によって、明白に区別することができる。欧州特許第2441798号明細書に記載されているように、ゼオライトは、硬化速度を加速させる目的で、レゾール硬化されるゴムにおいてすでに使用されている。可能なゼオライトは、Kirk−Othmer Encyclopedia of Chemical Technologyに既に記載されている。
いくつかの用途では、ゼオライトc)の存在下に成分b)のペルオキシドを用いて硬化させたポリマーa)をベースとする加硫物の固有の硬化状態が、そのままで、すでに十分であるということもあり得るが、商品としての実際のエラストマー性組成物では、架橋助剤をさらに含むであろう。架橋助剤の主要な機能は、硬化状態を向上させることであり、従って、架橋助剤は、加硫されたポリマー組成物の相当する物理的性質に影響する。いくつかの架橋助剤はさらに、硬化速度を向上させる。
本発明はさらに、本発明によるポリマー組成物を生産するためのプロセスにも関するが、そこでは、それらの成分を混合し、その混合物を混練する。好ましい実施態様においては、その混合プロセスは、インターナルミキサー中、エクストルーダー中、またはミルの上で実施される。
本発明はさらに、加硫された物品を生産するためのプロセスに関し、それに含まれるのは、加硫可能なポリマー組成物を成形する工程、およびその成形したゴム組成物を加硫する工程である。その加硫可能なポリマー組成物は、本発明においては先に述べたようにして調製するのが好ましい。
レオメーターのデータを提示する予定がある実施例および比較実験の組成物は、50mLの容積(Brabender Plasticore PLE 651)と設定温度50℃のインターナルミキサーを用いて調製した。全部の試験データを提示する予定がある実施例および比較実験の組成物は、3リットルの容積(Shaw K1 Mark IV Intermix)と25℃の出発温度を用いて調製した。最初にエラストマー性ポリマーをミキサーに導入し、30秒間かけて粉砕してから、カーボンブラック、ホワイトフィラー、およびオイルを添加した。混合温度が70℃に達するまで混合を続け、そこで、残りの成分を添加した。混合温度が95℃に達するまで混合を続け、そこでそのバッチを冷却のための2本ロールミル(Troester WNU 2)に移し、成分が高レベルの分散に達するまでブレンドした。
Claims (7)
- 加硫可能なポリマー組成物であって、
a)400g/100gポリマーより低いヨウ素価を有するポリマーであって、ここで前記ポリマーは、エチレン、1種または複数のC3〜C23α−オレフィン、およびポリエンモノマーのコポリマー、好ましくはエチレン、プロピレンおよびポリエンモノマーのコポリマーである、エラストマー性ポリマーである、ポリマー、
b)芳香族基を有する有機ペルオキシド、および
c)3〜6Åの孔径を有するゼオライト、
を含む、加硫可能なポリマー組成物。 - 前記成分b)の有機ペルオキシドが、ジ(tert−ブチルペルオキシイソプロピル)ベンゼンおよびジクミルペルオキシドからなる群より選択される、請求項1に記載の加硫可能なポリマー組成物。
- 前記成分c)のゼオライトが、3.5〜5.5Åの孔径を有する、請求項1〜2のいずれかに記載の加硫可能なポリマー組成物。
- 前記成分c)のゼオライトが、ゼオライトAタイプ、特には4Aまたは5Aの形態を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の加硫可能なポリマー組成物。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の加硫可能なポリマー組成物を成形する工程と、前記成形されたポリマー組成物を加硫させる工程とを含む、加硫された物品を生産するためのプロセス。
- 前記成形されたゴム組成物を、押出成形、カレンダー成形、圧縮成形、トランスファー成形、トランスファー成形、射出成形、またはそれらの組合せによって調製することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のプロセス。
- 請求項5〜6のいずれかに記載のプロセスによって作製された、加硫された物品。
