・混合時間は、反応物質の混合に必要な時間を示す。
・クリーム時間は、反応物質の混合開始から最初のフォーム膨張の明確な出現までの経過時間である。この出現は、反応混合物が上昇し始める時の色変化によってはっきりわかることが多い。これには、ゆっくり反応する混合物で熟練した観察が必要となる。
・ゲル化時間は、反応物質の混合と非流動で半固体のゼリー状系の形成間の時間間隔である。この時間間隔は、フォームのゲル強度が十分に発達して寸法的に安定する時間である。ゲル化時間後、フォームが上昇する速度は遅くなる。
・立ち上がり時間は、混合開始から光学的に知覚可能な上昇終了までの時間である。従って、立ち上がり時間は、フォーム膨張が終了するまでの時間である。上昇プロセス完了時点では、フォームの表面はまだベトベトしている。
・タックフリー時間は、混合開始から、フォーム表面が十分に硬化してその表面がもはやベトベトしたり粘つかなくなる時点までの経過時間である。タックフリーとなる時点は、木製の棒でフォーム表面を繰り返し試験することによって決定できる。

Claims (13)
- ポリオールと、芳香族イソシアネート化合物と、粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)と、発泡剤と、の合計質量に対して、
40〜70質量%の前記ポリオールと;
一分子当たり平均で少なくとも2個のイソシアネート基を有する、20〜40質量%の前記芳香族イソシアネート化合物と;
平均粒径が1〜40μmである、2〜30質量%の前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)と;
0.5〜5質量%の前記発泡剤と、を含むとともにイソシアネート指数が65〜95である反応混合物の生成物を含み、
密度が0.01〜0.16g/cm3であることを特徴とするポリウレタンフォーム。 - 前記ポリオールは、エチレンオキシドキャップ化ポリエーテルトリオール、プロピレンオキシドキャップ化ポリエーテルトリオール、エチレンオキシドキャップ化ポリエーテルポリオールあるいはこれらの組み合わせを含む請求項1に記載のポリウレタンフォーム。
- 前記芳香族イソシアネート化合物は、1,4−テトラメチレンジイソシアネート、1,6−ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、2,2,4−トリメチル−1,6−ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、1,12−ドデカメチレンジイソシアネート、シクロヘキサン−1,3−ジイソシアネート、シクロヘキサン−1,4−ジイソシアネート、1−イソシアナト−2−イソシアナトメチルシクロペンタン、1−イソシアナト−3−イソシアナトメチル−3,5,5−トリメチル−シクロヘキサン、ビス(4−イソシアナトシクロヘキシル)メタン、2,4’−ジシクロヘキシル−メタンジイソシアネート、1,3−ビス(イソシアナトメチル)−シクロヘキサン、1,4−ビス(イソシアナトメチル)−シクロヘキサン、ビス(4−イソシアナト−3−メチル−シクロヘキシル)メタン、α,α,α’,α’−テトラメチル−1,3−キシリレンジイソシアネート、α,α,α’,α’−テトラメチル−1,4−キシリレンジイソシアネート、1−イソシアナト−1−メチル−4(3)−イソシアナトメチルシクロヘキサン、2,4ーヘキサヒドロトルエンジイソシアネート、2,6ーヘキサヒドロトルエンジイソシアネート、1,3−フェニレンジイソシアネート、1,4−フェニレンジイソシアネート、2,4−トルエンジイソシアネート、2,6−トルエンジイソシアネート、2,4−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、1,5−ジイソシアナトナフタレン、1分子当たり平均で2個超〜4個以下のイソシアネート基を有するオリゴマー性ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートあるいはこれらの組み合わせを含む請求項1に記載のポリウレタンフォーム。
- 前記芳香族イソシアネート化合物は、2,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、トルエン2,6−ジイソシアネート、トルエン2,4−ジイソシアネート、1分子当たり平均で2個超〜4個以下のイソシアネート基を有するオリゴマー性ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートあるいはこれらの組み合わせを含む請求項1に記載のポリウレタンフォーム。
- 前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)は、粒子状ポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)である請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のポリウレタンフォーム。
- 前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)の平均粒径は2〜8μmである請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のポリウレタンフォーム。
- 前記発泡剤は水を含む請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のポリウレタンフォーム。
- 前記ポリオールは、エチレンオキシドキャップ化ポリエーテルトリオール、プロピレンオキシドキャップ化ポリエーテルトリオール、エチレンオキシドキャップ化ポリエーテルポリオールあるいはこれらの組み合わせを含み;
前記芳香族イソシアネート化合物は、2,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、トルエン2,6−ジイソシアネート、トルエン2,4−ジイソシアネート、1分子当たり平均で2個超〜4個以下のイソシアネート基を有するオリゴマー性ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートあるいはこれらの組み合わせを含み;
前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)は、粒子状ポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)であり;
前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)の平均粒径は2〜8μmであり;
前記発泡剤は水を含み;
前記反応混合物は、45〜65質量%の前記ポリオールと、25〜35質量%の前記芳香族イソシアネート化合物と、3〜25質量%の前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)と、1.7〜3質量%の前記発泡剤と、を含む請求項1に記載のポリウレタンフォーム。 - ポリオールと、芳香族イソシアネート化合物と、粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)と、発泡剤と、の合計質量に対して、
40〜70質量%の前記ポリオールと;
一分子当たり平均で少なくとも2個のイソシアネート基を有する、20〜40質量%の前記芳香族イソシアネート化合物と;
平均粒径が1〜40μmである、2〜30質量%の前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)と;
0.5〜5質量%の前記発泡剤と、を含むとともにイソシアネート指数が65〜95である反応混合物の生成物を含み、
密度が0.01〜0.16g/cm3であるポリウレタンフォームを含むことを特徴とする物品。 - 寝具類、家具、自動車内装、大量輸送機関内装、フローリング下敷き、包装、織物、ライニングおよびガスケット用途、音響減衰材および隙間充填材から構成される群から選択される請求項9に記載の物品。
- 前記ポリオールは、エチレンオキシドキャップ化ポリエーテルトリオール、プロピレンオキシドキャップ化ポリエーテルトリオール、エチレンオキシドキャップ化ポリエーテルポリオールあるいはこれらの組み合わせを含み;
前記芳香族イソシアネート化合物は、2,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、トルエン2,6−ジイソシアネート、トルエン2,4−ジイソシアネート、1分子当たり平均で2個超〜4個以下のイソシアネート基を有するオリゴマー性ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートあるいはこれらの組み合わせを含み;
前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)は、粒子状ポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)であり;
前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)の平均粒径は2〜8μmであり;
前記発泡剤は水を含み;
前記反応混合物は、45〜65質量%の前記ポリオールと、25〜35質量%の前記芳香族イソシアネート化合物と、3〜25質量%の前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)と、1.7〜3質量%の前記発泡剤と、を含む請求項9または10に記載の物品。 - ポリオール、芳香族イソシアネート化合物、粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)および発泡剤の合計質量に対して、
平均粒径が1〜40μmである、2〜30質量%の前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)と、0.5〜5質量%の前記発泡剤との存在下で、40〜70質量%の前記ポリオールと、1分子当たり平均で少なくとも2つのイソシアネート基を有する、20〜40質量%の前記芳香族イソシアネート化合物と、を反応させて、ポリウレタンフォームを形成するステップを含み、
これらの反応混合物のイソシアネート指数は65〜95であり、
ポリウレタンフォームの密度が0.01〜0.16g/cm3であることを特徴とするポリウレタンフォームの形成方法。 - 前記ポリオールは、エチレンオキシドキャップ化ポリエーテルトリオール、プロピレンオキシドキャップ化ポリエーテルトリオール、エチレンオキシドキャップ化ポリエーテルポリオールあるいはこれらの組み合わせを含み;
前記芳香族イソシアネート化合物は、2,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、トルエン2,6−ジイソシアネート、トルエン2,4−ジイソシアネート、1分子当たり平均で2個超〜4個以下のイソシアネート基を有するオリゴマー性ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートあるいはこれらの組み合わせを含み;
前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)は粒子状ポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)であり;
前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)の平均粒径は2〜8μmであり;
前記発泡剤は水を含み;
前記ポリオールの量は45〜65質量%であり、前記芳香族イソシアネート化合物の量は25〜35質量%であり、前記粒子状ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)の量は3〜25質量%であり、前記発泡剤の量は1.7〜3質量%である請求項12に記載の方法。
